PROCESSING APPARATUS
A processing apparatus includes a wafer cassette table, a wafer carrying-out mechanism, a wafer table, a frame housing unit, a frame carrying-out mechanism, a frame table, a tape sticking unit, a tape-attached frame conveying mechanism, a tape pressure bonding unit, a frame unit carrying-out mechanism, a reinforcing part removing unit, a ring-free unit carrying-out mechanism, and a frame cassette table. The wafer carrying-out mechanism includes a Bernoulli chuck mechanism that jets gas to the back surface of the wafer and generates a negative pressure. The gas jetted by the Bernoulli chuck mechanism is inert gas. The wafer carrying-out mechanism jets the inert gas from the Bernoulli chuck mechanism to suppress oxidation of the back surface of the wafer when the wafer is carried out.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A WIND TURBINE BLADE AND SHEAR WEB ASSEMBLY FOR A WIND TURBINE BLADE
The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a wind turbine blade (10). The method comprises arranging one or more shear webs (50, 55) within a first shell half. At least one support frame (80) is fixe to one or more anchoring points (86) on the inside surface (36b) of the first shell half, the support frame comprising a free end (81) for engaging with a lateral surface of the shear web. One or more guide element (74) are fastened to at least one of the lateral surfaces of the shear web such that the guide element extends laterally from the shear web to form a receiving space (88) between the guide element (74) and the shear web (55). The shear webs are then lowered into the first shell half such that the free end (81) of the support frame (80) is received in the receiving space (88) between the guide element (74) and the shear web (55).
HEAT ACTIVATED ADHESIVE TAPES FOR JOINING FABRIC SEGMENTS
The application discloses a tape for stitchless joining of fabric sections. In some embodiments the tape is heat activated and includes a thermostable liner and a layer of dry latex of polyurethane with a crosslinker. Methods of manufacturing and using the tape are also disclosed.

A shippable bundled product including a plurality of paper product rolls each individually packaged by a first package material and arranged relative to one another so as to form a bundle. The bundle is packaged by a second package material. The second package material has a shrinkage factor relative to the bundle of less than zero.
Explosion-proof housing and method for producing the same
An explosion-proof housing includes at least one metal housing part having at least one of a housing opening or receiving surface, and a support edge bordering said at least one of a housing opening or receiving surface. A cover part covers said at least one of a housing opening or the receiving surface. The cover part includes a peripheral cover edge which is connected to the support edge in an explosion-proof manner such that in the event of an explosion inside the housing, the explosion is prevented from crossing over to an explosive atmosphere surrounding the housing. A plurality of connection points are formed between the support edge and the cover edge. The connection points include interlocking depressions and protrusions. The protrusions are formed by partial melting of the cover edge. The depressions and the protrusions interlock with play in a longitudinal direction of the housing.
Heat bonding of low energy surface substrates
A method comprising providing a polymeric substrate having a melting point of from about 130° C. to about 190° C., and locating a material layer onto the substrate, wherein the material layer comprises one or more polymeric materials that liquefy upon exposure to temperatures of at least about 100° C., to blend with a softened portion of the polymeric substrate. Upon exposure of one or more of the substrate and the material layer to a stimulus, the temperature is increased in a predetermined temperature zone of one or more of the substrate and material layer to cause blending of the one or more polymeric materials of the material layer with the softened portion of the polymeric substrate.
Inflation and sealing device with web control
The present disclosure is directed to a web control guide for an inflation and sealing assembly of a protective packaging formation device for inflating a web material into a chain of inflated cushions. The web control guide is positioned along a material path at a transverse spacing from a first compression element and constrains a first thickness of the material path measured normal to the longitudinal and transverse directions of the material path. The transverse spacing and constrained thickness dimension are sufficiently small to prevent transverse movement of the flexible material towards the first compression element to avoid excessive heating of the web material outside a sealing zone.
Inflation and sealing device with web control
The present disclosure is directed to a web control guide for an inflation and sealing assembly of a protective packaging formation device for inflating a web material into a chain of inflated cushions. The web control guide is positioned along a material path at a transverse spacing from a first compression element and constrains a first thickness of the material path measured normal to the longitudinal and transverse directions of the material path. The transverse spacing and constrained thickness dimension are sufficiently small to prevent transverse movement of the flexible material towards the first compression element to avoid excessive heating of the web material outside a sealing zone.
Methods to improve compression during microwave heating
Methods for microwave melting of fiber mixtures to form composite materials include placing the fiber mixture in a receptacle located in a microwave oven. The methods further include microwave heating the mixture, causing a heat activated compression mechanism to automatically increase compressive force on the mixture, thereby eliminating air and void volumes. The heat activated compression mechanism can include a shape memory alloy wire connecting first and second compression brackets, or one or more ceramic blocks configured to increase in volume and thereby increase compression on the mixture.
Pouch forming apparatus and method
To solve the above problem, a pouch forming apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a die in which a forming space is recessed inward from a top surface thereof; a partition wall partitioning the forming space into first and second forming spaces; a stripper disposed above the die and configured to descend to contact the die with the pouch film therebetween to fix the pouch film to be seated on a top surface of the die; and an electromagnetic force generation part disposed above the forming space and configured to generate electromagnetic force and configured to apply the electromagnetic force to the forming space.
