TRANSMISSION WELDING METHOD, TRANSMISSION WELDING DEVICE AND TRANSMISSION WELDING ARRANGEMENT
To achieve universal welding of thermoplastic workpiece parts with simple equipment, an infrared light transmission welding method is disclosed in which simple polychromatic, incoherent infrared light is generated by a simple infrared light source and is directed through a first workpiece part to a weld point for the purposes of connection to a second workpiece part. In particular, the infrared light is directed through a transparent bracing element.
COMPOSITE MATERIAL BONDING APPARATUS AND COMPOSITE MATERIAL BONDING METHOD
Provided is a composite material bonding apparatus that can reduce a cycle time when composite material members are bonded to each other. The composite material bonding apparatus includes a sheet-heater moving device that places a graphite heater at an insertion position between a first bonded surface of a first composite material member and a second bonded surface of a second composite material member such that the graphite heater is parallel to the first bonded surface and the second bonded surface facing the first bonded surface, and retracts the graphite heater to a retraction position from the insertion position. The first bonded surface and the second bonded surface are heated at the insertion position by the graphite heater, and then the graphite heater is moved to the retraction position by the sheet-heater moving device.
TEMPERATURE CONTROL APPARATUS AND TEMPERATURE CONTROL METHOD
A temperature control apparatus includes: a first pressure bonding unit which includes a first flow passage and a first pressure bonding surface which is to be brought into contact with an object; a temperature control fluid supply device which supplies a temperature control fluid in form of gas to the first flow passage in such a manner that the temperature control fluid is condensed on an inner wall surface of the first pressure bonding unit that partitions the first flow passage to adjust the first pressure bonding surface to a first heating temperature; and a pressure adjustment device which lowers an internal pressure of the first flow passage to promote vaporization of the temperature control fluid in form of liquid in the first flow passage in such a manner that the first pressure bonding surface is adjusted to a temperature lower than the first heating temperature.
JOINING THERMOPLASTIC COMPONENTS
A joining method is provided during which a first thermoplastic component joint section and a second thermoplastic component joint section are arranged between first tooling and second tooling. The second thermoplastic component joint section is abutted against the first thermoplastic component joint section at a joint area. The first thermoplastic component joint section is joined to the second thermoplastic component joint section to provide a unitized thermoplastic structure. The joining includes: pressing the first thermoplastic component joint section against the second thermoplastic component joint section at the joint area between the first tooling and the second tooling using a pressure device; and heating the first thermoplastic component joint section and the second thermoplastic component joint section at the joint area using a first heater configured with the first tooling. The unitized thermoplastic structure is cooled at the joint area using a first cooler configured with the first tooling.
Method for producing a common connecting opening in two components, at least one of which is made from a plastically deformable material
A method is provided for producing a common connecting opening in two components, at least one of which is made from a plastically deformable material. In the method, at least the edge region of a first prefabricated opening of the first component is softened in order subsequently to introduce a mandrel which displaces the material softened by the heating so that a common connecting opening having a predetermined diameter is obtained.
Method of Forming a Shaped Article
A method of forming shaped articles by welding.
METHOD OF FORMING A WIND TURBINE BLADE
The invention provides a method of forming a wind turbine blade. The blade has a main blade module that defines a main body of the blade and includes a first mating feature, e.g. a tongue. The blade also includes a separate edge module that defines at least part of a trailing edge of the blade and includes a second mating feature, e.g. a recess. The method includes applying an adhesive to at least one of the first mating feature and the second mating feature. The method includes arranging the separate edge module relative to the main blade module such that the first and second mating features are mutually adjacent. The method includes applying a pressure force to squeeze the adhesive to bond the first and second mating features together. The pressure force is caused by removing air from, or injecting air into, an air sealed region.
Manufacturing method of assembly
In a manufacturing method of an assembly, the assembly including a metal part and a pipe, the pipe including a material containing a resin, an adhesive is first adhered to an outer circumferential surface of the pipe and a metal part covering at least a portion of an outer circumferential surface of the pipe. Here, an area to which the adhesive is adhered on the outer circumferential surface of the pipe is defined as an adhesion area. Next, by a heat source provided inside the pipe, a target area is heated without interposing the metal part. The target area is located radially interior to the adhesion area and located on an inner circumferential surface of the pipe.
INFLATABLE CELLULAR CUSHIONING ARTICLE WITH ENHANCED PERFORMANCE PROPERTIES
An inflatable cellular cushioning article has a plurality of inflatable chambers with each chamber comprising a plurality of inflatable cells connected in series with one another by connecting channels. The article is made from a first multilayer film sealed to itself or to a second film. The first film comprises a plurality of microlayers. At least 50 percent of the microlayers comprise a polymer selected from the group consisting of ethylene homopolymer, ethylene copolymer, propylene homopolymer, and propylene copolymer.
Bonding System and Bonding Method
A bonding system includes a supporting jig having a mounting surface on bonding substrates which are mounted, a bonding device that sandwiches and welds the bonding substrates between itself and the mounting surface, an articulated robot to which the bonding device is attached, and a control unit that controls the articulated robot and the bonding device.
