Construction of a synthetic grass playing fields by flooring panels
For the construction of synthetic grass playing fields, a plurality of panels (1, 1′, 1″) are manufactured by injection molding and stacked in groups (50). Each stacked group (50) is placed on a distributor vehicle (90) moved along a covering direction (Z), so that the panels (1) which compose the group (50) are able to rotate relative to each other with respect to a main direction (X) orthogonal to the covering direction (Z), so that a row of panels is constructed.
ULTRASONICALLY WELDED MAT UNIT AND SYSTEM THEREOF
A mat unit is formed from at least two layers ultrasonically welded together. Each layer is individually formed from non-vinyl nontoxic thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) material. In ultrasonically joining the two layers together, there is no need to use additional materials, such as adhesive (i.e., chemical attachment) or stitched thread (i.e., mechanical attachment) to form the joint/weld point. Once formed from the two layers, the mat unit has four quadrants and a plurality of longitudinal ribs integrally formed in the first layer positioned in the first and third quadrants, and a plurality of transverse ribs integrally formed in the first layer positioned in the second and fourth quadrants. Additionally, there are a plurality of longitudinal ribs integrally formed in the second layer positioned in the second and fourth quadrants, and a plurality of transverse ribs integrally formed in the second layer positioned in the first and third quadrants.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR BUTT-SPLICING STRIP MEMBERS
Provided is a device and method for butt-splicing strip members for tire components, having a first clamp and a second clamp arranged for clamping a first end of a first strip member and a second end of a second strip member, respectively, wherein at least one of the first clamp and the second clamp is movable along a butt-splice direction into a butt-splicing position opposite to the other of the first clamp and the second clamp for butt-splicing the ends, wherein the first clamp includes a first upper clamp member and a first lower clamp member, wherein the second clamp includes a second upper clamp member and a second lower clamp member, wherein the first lower clamp member projects beyond the first upper clamp member over a first overlap distance and wherein the second upper clamp member projects beyond the second lower clamp member over a second overlap distance.
AUTOMATIC WELDING MACHINE
An automatic welding machine for lap welding the edges of plastic webs, comprising a movable supporting frame, a heating device for partially melting the plastic webs, at least two opposing, counter-rotating pressing rollers and/or advancing rollers, at least one of which being driven, and at least one driving device comprising a drive motor and at least one gearbox for driving the pressing and/or advancing rollers, wherein the pressing rollers and/or advancing rollers are driven by the driving device by way of at least one flexible shaft. Furthermore, the gearbox can be implemented as a worm gear mechanism comprising a worm that is seated directly on a motor shaft of the drive motor and two counter-rotating worm gears driven by the worm.
Method for splicing stress skins used for manufacturing structural insulated panels
A method for manufacturing substantially longer structural insulated panels through lamination without sacrificing thermal efficiency and structural integrity. The method includes laminating an insulating structure in between a lower sheet of serial panels and an upper sheet of serial panels. The individual structural panels of the lower sheet of serial panels are spliced together with a plurality of lower splice plates. Similarly, the individual structural panels of the upper sheet of serial panels are spliced together with a plurality of upper splice plates. The plurality of upper splice plates is positioned offset from the plurality of lower splice plates. The resulting elongated structural insulated panel retains its characteristics due to the positioning of the splice plates and their integration into the manufacturing method.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TRACKING WELD DATA
A moveable seam welding machine, system, and method of use is provided. The seam welding machine includes at least one sensor that generates at least one data point having geolocation coordinates incorporated or integrally formed therewith. The data point typically relates to the integrity or quality of the welded seam created by the machine. The sensor generates data points which may be evaluated in alarm logic for abnormalities or anomalies. The geolocation coordinates inherent or integral to the data point may be plotted or registered overtop satellite imagery. The coordinates of the anomalies or the registered image, or both, can be provided to the workman or operator so he/she may manually inspect the geolocation at where the abnormal or anomaly data point was generated by the sensor to spot check the welded seam by hand.

Splicable environmentally-friendly non-PVC advertising cloth made of a woven structure
A splicable environmentally-friendly non-PVC advertising cloth made of a woven structure, wherein the advertising cloth comprising a mesh base layer (40); a first adhesion-promoting structural layer (10), which is a refractory and waterproof layer covering the front surface (43) and the rear surface (44) of the mesh base layer (40); a second adhesion-promoting structural layer (20) coated on the first surface (13) of the first adhesion-promoting structure layer (10); and a third adhesion-promoting structural layer (30) coated on the upper surface (24) of the second adhesion-promoting structure layer (20), therefore, waterproof and ink-absorbing structure arranged on a mesh base (40) layer, and the width of the advertising cloth (50) can be spliced unlimitedly as required by using high frequency splicing, making the environmentally friendly advertising cloth more applicable also improving the overall advertising effect and quality.
Tire carcass ply joining apparatus and method
A method forms a butt joint between ends of first and second plies and splices the first and second plies together. The method includes the steps of: positioning a first splice edge of a first ply at a first location; positioning a second splice edge of a second ply at a second location, the second splice edge being left bare; wrapping a gum strip around the first splice edge such that the first gum strip forms a U-shaped structure in section that allows the first gum strip to extend from a first planar side of the first ply over the first splice edge to a second opposite planar side of the first ply; not wrapping a gum strip around the second splice edge; placing the first splice edge in abutting relationship to the second splice edge; and stitching the first splice edge to the second splice edge such that stitches each extend from the first planar side of the first ply, through the gum strip, to the first planar side of the second ply.
SYNTHETIC TURF JOINING SYSTEM WITH WATER CHANNEL AND METHOD OF JOINING SYNTHETIC TURF
A turf joining system including a first piece and second piece of a synthetic turf and a bridge support. The first and second pieces have side edges which are closely adjacent each other. The bridge support heat welds to the overlying first and second pieces to form an elongated first heat weld and elongated second heat weld each proximate and spaced from the respective side edge to define a water channel therebetween. A method of sealing a plurality of synthetic turf pieces together is disclosed.
