METHOD FOR CONNECTING WORKPIECES, AND ASSEMBLED OBJECT
Two workpieces 30, 40 are joined by means of ultrasound. First, a workpiece 30 with at least one energy direction sensor 31 and a second workpiece 40 are provided. The workpieces are brought into contact with each other in such a way that the energy direction sensor 31 comes into contact with a first surface 41 of the second workpiece 40. Ultrasonic vibrations are then introduced into one of the workpieces 40 via a working surface 11 of a sonotrode 10. A sonotrode 10 is used, which has a contour with contact lines 12 on the working surface 11. The sonotrode 10 is positioned with respect to the first workpiece 30 in such a way that the contact lines 12 run transversely to the energy direction generator 31.
LIFE JACKET, AIR BLOWING MEMBER AND METHOD FOR COMBINING THERE OF
The present invention provides a life jacket. In an embodiment, the life jacket includes a jacket member; and an air blowing member which is provided in the jacket member to inject air to the jacket member, wherein the air blowing member includes a base part coupled with the jacket member; and a tube part extending from the base part, wherein a flexible portion is formed in a part or the entire of the tube part.
UNIT AND A METHOD FOR APPLYING PRE-FORMED OPENING DEVICES ONTO A WEB OF A PACKAGING MATERIAL
There is described a unit for applying at least one pre-formed opening device onto a hole of a web of a packaging material, unit comprises an advancing means device for advancing the web along a path; and at least one application station, which is fed, in use, with pre-formed opening device and seals, in use, pre-formed opening device on the hole of web.
Method and device for producing tubular bags
The invention relates to a method for producing tubular bags made from plastic film or from composite film having a plastic layer on the bag content side, having a self-cutting plastic closure attached to the tubular bag, consisting of a spout part having a fastening flange, a cutting body, which is movably guided in the spout part, and a screw cover having means for activating the cutting body. The film material (5) is supplied from a supply roll to a bag manufacturing machine and the plastic closure is sealed onto the film material in a spout region of a tubular bag. According to the invention, the film material (5) is thinned on the inside of the bag in a ring-shaped region, which is intended for cutting by the cutting body, by means of a thermal embossing process. The plastic closure is then positioned and sealed onto the film material such that the cutting organ embedded in the spout part can become effective in the thinned, ring-shaped region upon use thereof.
IMPULSE HEAT SEALING OF A HEAT-SEALABLE FILM MATERIAL
A sealing station configured to heat seal a wall made from heat-sealable film material, preferably metal-free heat-sealable film material, onto one another wall of heat-sealable material, e.g. another wall of heat-sealable film material, to create a sealed seam. The sealing station comprises an impulse sealing device comprising a first jaw and a second jaw, wherein at least the first jaw comprises at the respective front surface thereof at least one, e.g. a single elongated, impulse heatable member that extends along the respective front surface and that is covered by a heat-resistant non-stick covering.
WELDING HEAD AND WELDING DEVICE
The present invention relates to a welding head (10) for fastening an element made of plastic material to one or more flexible webs (2, 3) made of plastic material, of which a flexible container (1) is composed. The head (10) includes a body made of electrically and/or thermally conductive material having a work surface (15) that is provided for being pressed, during the welding operation, against an element of the unit to be joined. The invention is characterized in that the work surface (15) includes a series of grooves or concave formations (16) that are essentially uniformly distributed on the surface of the work surface (15).
Spout mounting method
A spout is mounted on a plastic film being longitudinally and intermittently fed. The plastic film is punched by a punch blade to form an aperture. A carriage is moved for a distance corresponding to a space between the punch blade and a seal head and between a punch receiver and a seal receiver. The spout is inserted into the aperture. The spout and the plastic film are heat sealed with each other by the seal head.
BONDING OBJECTS TOGETHER
Methods of bonding a first object to a second object, including the steps of: providing the second object having a protrusion; providing the first object having a thermoplastic material; positioning the first object relative to the second object such that an assembly of the first and the second object is formed; applying a relative force between the second and first objects and applying mechanical vibration to the assembly of the first and the second object until at least a flow portion of the thermoplastic material becomes flowable and flows around the protrusion; and causing the thermoplastic material to re-solidify. The first object may be a connecting element including a feedthrough, wherein the second object has a corresponding opening. The protrusion may be deformed such that the protrusion has an undercut relative to an axis along which the first and second objects are pressed against each other.
Polyurethane bonding process for fuel bladders
A method of bonding a metal fitting to a polyurethane structure, the method comprising abrading a surface of the metal fitting with an abrasive; cleaning the metal fitting with a solvent; cleaning a surface of the polyurethane structure with an alcohol; applying a primer to the surface of the metal fitting; applying an adhesive to the surface of the metal fitting and the surface of the polyurethane structure; applying a liquid polyurethane compound to the surface of the metal fitting and the surface of the polyurethane structure; and pressing the surface of the metal fitting against the surface of the polyurethane structure to form an assembly. The primer can comprise a first resin and a first catalyst in a ratio of about 1.1 to 1; the adhesive can comprise a second resin and a second catalyst in a ratio of about 3 to 1; and the liquid polyurethane compound can comprise a third resin and a third catalyst in a ratio of about 10 to 1.
SOFT PACKAGE WITH STRENGTHENED HOT PRESSING TRACES AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
A soft package with strengthened hot pressing traces includes a first side wall and a second side wall formed with a folded portion along a folding line and the distal edge of the second side wall is securely adhered to that of the first side wall except of the folding line and the distal edge of the folded portion. A top wall is divided into a first portion and a second portion, wherein a distal edge of the first portion of the top wall is securely adhered to that of the folded portion and a distal edge of the second portion is securely adhered to that of a top portion of the first side wall to form a bag structure. Two strengthened pressing traces are formed on two opposite sides of the top wall. A nozzle is mounted onto the top wall and outwardly extending through the top wall.
