Method for manufacturing a pneumatic tire with an improved tread
The method comprises the steps of a) forming a carcass composed of a cured rubber material and b) overmolding, on the carcass, at least one thermoplastic elastomer material in order to finish the pneumatic tire.
BONDING RUBBER AND PLASTIC SURFACES DURING INJECTION MOLDING
An injection molded composite comprising a first bonding surface of a diene rubber composition bonded to a second bonding surface of a polar thermoplastic elastomer composition. There may be no more than 25% of the bonding surfaces having an adhesive applied to them or alternatively, no adhesive is applied. Furthermore, the polar thermoplastic elastomer composition was injected against the first bonding surface to form the second bonding surface and the first bonding surface has an active halogen moiety.
Tire tracking RFID label
Identification labels and their incorporation in rubber-based articles are described. The labels include RFID components and can be incorporated in tires. The labels can withstand the relatively harsh conditions associated with vulcanization.

PROCESS FOR PRODUCTION OF A NON-PNEUMATIC TIRE
One aspect of this invention involves a process for producing a non-pneumatic tire comprising a structure and a shear band, said process comprising providing a structure comprising a thermoplastic material having a surface intended to be brought into contact with a shear band; pretreating the surface of the structure to obtain a pretreated surface; providing an atmospheric pressure plasma generated from a gas mixture; depositing a plasma polymerized coating layer from the atmospheric pressure plasma on the pretreated surface to produce a structure with a coated surface comprising a plasma polymerized coating layer; providing a shear band with a layer of rubber material and contacting the coated surface of the structure with said layer of rubber material; and co-vulcanizing the coated surface of the structure with the layer of rubber material of the shear band.

Tire processing method
A tire comprises an inner surface defining and facing an inner hollow space, an outer surface pointing away from the inner hollow space. A method of processing the tire comprises identifying the position of a first feature on the outer surface and cleaning a surface portion of the inner surface of the tire, wherein the surface portion has a first predetermined position relative to the position of the first feature on the outer surface. A separate element is attached with its attachment surface to the surface portion, wherein a ratio of a size of the surface portion over a corresponding size of the attachment surface is smaller than 10.
VULCANIZED RUBBER SURFACE TREATMENT AGENT, METHOD OF PRODUCING ADHESIVE STRUCTURE, ADHESIVE STRUCTURE, AND TIRE
Provided is a vulcanized rubber surface treatment agent that enables firm adhesion between vulcanized rubbers without heating and has little effect on rubber deterioration. The vulcanized rubber surface treatment agent is used for adhering vulcanized rubbers to each other, which is an aqueous solution of hypochlorous acid having a pH value of 2 or more and 7 or less and an effective chlorine concentration of 100 ppm or more and 13000 ppm or less.
