TIRE
A tire includes a tire frame having an annular shape and containing a resin, and a resin layer that is provided on at least a part of an inner circumferential surface of the tire frame and that contains a urethane resin, the resin layer having a tensile modulus of elasticity of from 2 MPa to 50 MPa, the tensile modulus of elasticity of the resin layer being from 0.01 times to 0.50 times a tensile modulus of elasticity of the tire frame, and the resin layer having a softening point of 80 C. or higher.
TIRE
A tire 10 includes a resin tire case 17, a belt layer 12, a corner filler member 40, and a tread 38. The resin tire case 17 is made from resin and includes a bead portion 14, a side portion 16, and a crown portion 18. The belt layer 12 is provided at the tire radial direction outside of the crown portion 18 and is formed by winding a covered reinforcing cord 28 configured by covering a reinforcing cord 24 with resin in a tire circumferential direction so as to form a spiral pattern. The corner filler member 40 is provided at the radial direction outside of the crown portion 18 so as to fill a corner recess formed between an outer face 18A of the crown portion 18 and an upright-projecting face of the belt layer 12. The tread 38 covers the crown portion 18 from the tire radial direction outside of the belt layer 12.
TIRE
A tire has: a tire frame member having bead portions, side portions that lie in a row with tire radial direction outer sides of the bead portions, and a crown portion that lies in a row with tire axial direction inner sides of the side portions; and a belt layer in which a plurality of ring-shaped reinforcing bodies, which are annular and in which a reinforcing cord that is annular is covered by a resin, are disposed along a tire axial direction at a tire radial direction outer side of the tire frame member.
Pneumatic tire with carcass ply overlap
This pneumatic tire is provided with: a pair of carcass layers arranged so as to extend from the respective left and right beads of the tire across the tread; and a plurality of crossing belts arranged on the outside of the carcass layers in the radial direction of the tire. The pair of carcass layers is arranged so as to overlap each other in the tire width direction. The overlapping width (Wc) of the carcass layers is in the range of 0.5 mmWc40 mm.
Split ply tires and bead area monocomponents
An intermediate article of manufacture formed as a first stage bead area subassembly for a split ply pneumatic tire carcass is disclosed. The bead area subassembly has an annular bead core; a bead apex; a ply strip; and preferably a sidewall affixed to the ply strip. The subassembly is formed into a disk-shaped bead area monocomponent. The ply strip is wrapped about the bead core and the apex to form a ply turnup and both the ply strip and the ply turnup extend radially outwardly from the bead core. The bead area subassembly when formed into the disk-shaped bead area monocomponent is placed on an annular holder device.
Tire and tire manufacturing method
A tire includes: a tire case serving as an example of a circular tire frame member that is formed using a frame resin material; and a reinforcing cord member that is disposed at an outer circumference of the tire case, that is configured by a reinforcing cord covered with a resin covering layer, that is wound along a tire circumferential direction so as to form a spiral shape, that is bonded to the tire case, and in which tire axial direction adjacent portions of the reinforcing cord member are bonded together.
TIRE AND METHOD OF PRODUCING THE SAME
A tire including a tire frame, which is toric and is formed with a resin material containing a thermoplastic resin; an adhesion layer, which is formed with a composition including a polythiol compound, a polyisocyanate compound, and a radical generator, and in which a ratio (S/N) of the number (S) of sulfur atoms contained in the adhesion layer to the number (N) of nitrogen atoms contained in the adhesion layer is three or more; and an exterior component, which contains a rubber, and which is mounted on the tire frame via the adhesion layer such that at least part of the rubber touches the adhesion layer.
TIRE
A tire comprises a rubber member formed of a rubber composition comprising a diene-based rubber, and a ring-shaped tire frame formed of a resin material comprising a polyamide-based thermoplastic resin, in which the rubber member is adhered to a resin member including a polyamide-based thermoplastic resin via a layer formed of a composition including a resorcinol-formalin-latex-based adhesive.
Tire manufacturing method using jig to fix covered bead inside tire mold
A covered cord is formed by covering a cord with a resin material, and a covered bead is formed by welding or adhering together the resin material of the covered cord whilst shaping into a bead shape, such that resin material fills between the cord. The covered bead is placed in contact with a jig disposed inside a cavity of a tire mold for molding a tire frame member, the covered bead is fixed inside the mold, and the tire frame member is molded containing the covered bead in a tire bead portion by pouring molten resin material into the cavity.
Tire with welded thermoplastic constituent members
It is ensured the strength of a welded section in a tire that is configured by welding tire constituent members formed of a thermoplastic material. A tire has a first welded portion, in which one section of one tire constituent member and one section of another tire constituent member are both melted and welded, and a second welded portion, which is formed by welding a welding-use thermoplastic material to the surface of the first welded portion, whereby the strength of the joint section is ensured.
