Sole structures including polyolefin plates and articles of footwear formed therefrom
Sole structures including a plate including a first polyolefin resin, and an edge portion comprising a second resin are disclosed herein. The edge portion is more flexible or less rigid than the plate. Articles of footwear formed from the sole structures are also provided. Methods of making the polyolefin resin compositions, plates, edge portions, sole structures, and articles of footwear are also provided. In some aspects, the first polyolefin resin composition includes an effective amount of a polymeric resin modifier.
STRUCTURE AND PROCEDURE FOR MAKING A SHOE WITH KNITTED UPPER
A procedure for making a shoe including steps of weaving/construction of an upper, forming the upper in which two previously constructed stockings are a tube that is closed on one side while the other end of the tube remains open, subjecting the upper to a steam jet that dampens and softens a thermosetting polymer yarn, and passing the upper through a high-temperature kiln. Construction of the sole entails inserting the upper into a shoe-tree of a mould, positioning the shoe-tree with the upper and closure between two rings of the mould for polyurethane injection. Because of the presence of the arch structure a barrier that limits the passage thereof to the inner part of the upper, with filling of the mould, passage of predetermined quantities of polyurethane only through the slots of the arch structure permitting joint points to be created between the sole and upper and with the inner.
ARTICLE OF FOOTWEAR AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING AN ARTICLE OF FOOTWEAR
An article of footwear includes an upper and a strobel stitched to the upper at a series of stitches disposed in stitch holes that extend through the strobel. The strobel and the upper define a foot-receiving cavity with an inner surface of the strobel disposed at the foot-receiving cavity. A midsole is secured to the upper and an outer surface of the strobel is disposed at the midsole. The stitch holes are obstructed such that the stitch holes are not exposed to both the midsole and the foot-receiving cavity. Accordingly, when a flowable polymeric material is injected in a mold cavity to form the midsole with the lower portion of the upper and the strobel in the mold cavity, the stitch holes will not provide a path for entry of the flowable polymeric material into the foot-receiving cavity. A method of manufacturing an article of footwear is disclosed.
Method for forming a footwear midsole
Methods and systems are provided for forming an article of footwear. In one example, forming the article of footwear includes using a perforated last during molding of a midsole of the article of footwear. The midsole may be attached to a seam of the upper of the article footwear to secure the midsole to the upper.
A FOOTWEAR AND A METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A FOOTWEAR USING DIRECT INJECTION PROCESS
A method and a system for manufacturing a footwear. The footwear includes a footwear upper and a sole. The footwear upper has a lower end. The sole has an upper facing surface, a ground facing surface, and a side surface. The sole side surface includes a lateral side surface and medial side surface. The footwear upper lower end is attached to the side surface of the sole at least partly by a direct injection process of the sole. The direct injection process of the sole is being provided via a mold including at least two side mold parts. method and a system for manufacturing the footwear.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A SOLE OF A SHOE, IN PARTICULAR OF A SPORTS SHOE
The invention relates to a method for producing a sole (1) of a shoe. According to the invention, to produce a sole with cavities in a process-stable manner, the method comprises the following steps: a) producing a first sole part (2) in a first mould or mould part (3) by injecting the sole material into a mould cavity (4) of the first mould (3), wherein a number of volume elements (5) protrude into the mould cavity (4) and create cavities (6) in the first sole part (2); b) producing a second sole part (7) in a second mould (8) by injecting the sole material into a mould cavity (9) of the second mould (8), wherein a number of volume elements (10) protrude into the mould cavity (9) and create cavities (6) in the second sole part (7); c) after the first and second sole parts (2, 7) have solidified: removing the first and second sole parts (2, 7) from the first and second mould (3, 8) and placing the first and second sole parts (2, 7) into a third mould (11); d) pouring a joining material (14) over at least one section (12, 13) of the first and second sole parts (2, 7), the sections (12, 13) of the first and second sole part (2, 7) over which the material is poured adjoining each other, in order to join the first and second sole parts (2, 7) to each other.
SHOE MANUFACTURING
Example shoe manufacturing methods and related computer readable medium for implementing a portion of said manufacturing methods are disclosed herein. In some examples, the method includes placing an upper member about an upper portion of a last, wherein the last is a form for the shoe. In addition, the method includes producing a lasting based on data relating to a foot of a user, and attaching the lasting to the upper member, wherein the lasting extends over a lower portion of the last. Further, the method includes molding a sole onto the lasting and the upper member; and removing the last from the upper member.
