SLIDE MOTION CONTROL APPARATUS FOR MECHANICAL PRESS
A slide motion control apparatus for a mechanical press comprising: a slide which is disposed so as to be relatively vertically movable with respect to a driven body to which a drive force is transmitted through a con rod of the mechanical press; a relative position commander that outputs a relative position command indicating a relative position of the slide with respect to the driven body; a relative position detector that detects a relative position of the slide with respect to the driven body, and outputs a relative position detecting signal indicating the detected relative position; a servomotor; a drive mechanism that relatively moves the slide with respect to the driven body by a drive force of the servomotor; and a controller that controls the servomotor based on a relative position command signal output from the relative position commander, and the relative position detecting signal output from the relative position detector.
Press drive with several modes of operating a press and method for operating a press drive
A press drive for a press includes an elbow lever drive. The elbow lever drive includes a first lever, a second lever and a connecting rod. The lengths of the two levers as well as the connecting rod are fixed. The first lever is pivotally supported on the press frame by a first support bearing. The second lever is supported on the plunger via a second support bearing. The connecting rod and the two levers are supported by an elbow joint so as to be pivotable relative to each other about a common pivot axis. The connecting rod is driven by an eccentric drive. An adjustment arrangement is provided for moving the eccentric drive relative to the press frame or respectively, the first support bearing. In this way, different operating modes can be established depending on the position of the eccentric drive along the adjustment path.
PRESS DEVICE, CONTROL METHOD FOR PRESS DEVICE, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM STORING CONTROL PROGRAM
There is provided a press device which causes a slide to advance and retreat to forge a forming object by using a die heated to a predetermined temperature. The press device includes a determination unit that determines whether or not a press operation enters a stable forging period during which a mechanical load acting on the slide in a press direction is stable, and a controller that adjusts a force acting on the forming object from the die to deform the forming object, based on a predetermined measurement value, when the determination unit determines that the press operation enters the stable forging period.

METHODS OF OPERATING A STAMPING PRESS AND STAMPING PRESSES FOR OPERATION ACCORDING TO THE METHODS
The invention relates to a method for operating a stamping press (1) with a ram (2) which acts against a bolster plate (3), in particular a fixed bolster plate (3), and whose ram position relative to the bolster plate (3) can be adjusted in the intended use, wherein the ram (2) carries a first die part (4) and the bolster plate (3) carries a second die part (5), wherein the two die parts (4, 5) provide associated stop faces (6a, 7a) which, when the die is completely closed, form one or more fixed stops within the die for limiting the closing dimension of the die (4, 5). In accordance with a first method according to the invention, the distance (a, a1, a2, a3) between the two die parts (4, 5) or a parameter (b1, b2, b3, c) representing said distance is monitored at a certain point (P1, P2, P3) of the ram movement in which the die (4, 5) is not fully closed, and the ram movement is changed as a function of the monitoring result.
