A calculator calculates three feature amounts of a first deviation between the thickness target value and a thickness measurement value of a point closest to a first compression mechanism among the three or more points, a second deviation between the thickness target value and a thickness measurement value of a point closest to a second compression mechanism among the three or more points, and a secondary component of a thickness profile of the electrode plate from thickness measurement values at the three or more points and the thickness target value, and adaptively changes the setting values of the first compression mechanism, the second compression mechanism, a first bend mechanism, and a second bend mechanism on the basis of the three feature amounts.

Systems, methods, and apparatus for conditioning bamboo or other types of vegetable cane are provided. In one aspect, the present technology provides a cane processing assembly for use with a substantially flattened sheet of bamboo culm or vegetable cane having a plurality of longitudinally oriented fiber bundles. The assembly comprises first and second conditioning rollers configured to apply pressure to the sheet that breaks at least some natural bonds connecting laterally adjacent fiber bundles in the sheet. The first and second conditioning rollers are adjustable relative to each other so as to vary the pressure applied to the sheet by the first and second conditioning rollers.

The disclosure relates to a roller crusher that includes a frame, first and second crusher rolls arranged axially in parallel with each other and a deflection distributor. The roller crusher further includes at least one load sensor configured to detect a material load in the deflection distributor and at least one positioning sensor configured to detect a parameter pertaining to a distance between a first point and a second point of the roller crusher. At least the first point is defined on the deflection distributor or on one of movable bearing housings of the roller crusher. The disclosure further relates to a method for monitoring the physical condition of the deflection distributor and to a refitting kit for a roller crusher.
