Door for solid waste press
A press (10) for waste has a chamber that is enclosed in part by a sliding door (20). The door has an extrusion section (22) and an expulsion section (24). The extrusion section encloses the chamber while waste (18) is compressed in the chamber to extrude a wet fraction (32) of the waste. The expulsion section abuts the chamber when a remaining dry fraction (40) of the waste expelled. Preferably, the expulsion section is above the extrusion section. Various details of the door account for leakage of wet fraction waste between the chamber and the door.
Rail system and method for rosin collection
Systems, devices, and methods are disclosed for a rosin press that allows improved extraction over existing presses. The press includes improved platens for rosin collection with built-in gutter rail collection systems and well-distributed force on the pressed product and multiple hydraulic rams. In addition, computerized systems are provided for controlling and monitoring the system in an automated fashion, as well as safety features to prevent injury and damage to the product, especially during automated pressing.

Liquid filtering press
A liquid filtering press comprises two rigid baskets that stack together in a nested fashion to squeeze a filtration bag containing an unfiltered liquid. The liquid permeable baskets permit liquid to flow out freely through the entire surface of the filtration bag while preventing direct hand-to-liquid contact during pressing. A linkage between the baskets facilitates opening, closing, and pressing operations.

PRODUCTION AND USE OF COMPACTED COLLAGEN
The present invention relates to a method for producing compressed collagen comprising the steps of a) pressing a gelled collagen in a first pressing direction; and b) pressing the gelled collagen of step a) in a second pressing direction substantially orthogonal to the first pressing direction, wherein the pressing in step a) is carried out at a pressure in the range of 0.01 to 0.05 bar and in step b) at a pressure in the range of 0.5 bar to 2 bar.
ULTRASONIC-ASSISTED HEAT PRESS MACHINE AND USES THEREOF
An ultrasonic-assisted heat press machine, includes a frame, a material tank, an extruder, an ultrasonic wave generator, and a heater. The material tank is disposed on the frame and includes a cavity for accommodating an oil-bearing raw material. The extruder is extended in the cavity. The ultrasonic wave generator is disposed on the frame and adjacent to the material tank. The heater is disposed on the frame and adjacent to the material tank. The heater is configured to produce heat to heat the cavity and the ultrasonic wave generator, and regulate the working frequency of the ultrasonic wave generator. When in use, the heater, the extruder, and the ultrasonic wave generator cooperate to separate oil from the oil-bearing raw material in the material tank.
