DEWATERING MACHINE CAPABLE OF CONTROLLING MOISTURE CONTENT

A dewatering machine includes a screen, a screw and at least one moisture content control wing. The screen has a hollow inside, has an inlet portion through which livestock manure is inputted at a first side and an outlet portion through which dehydrated livestock manure is outputted at a second side, and has a plurality of moisture exhaust holes penetrating from an inside of the screen to an outside of the screen. The screw includes a rotation axis and a main wing formed into a spiral shape along a longitudinal direction of the rotation axis. At least one moisture content control wing is disposed between the main wings adjacent to the outlet portion, and is formed into a spiral shape along the longitudinal direction of the rotation axis.

Pressing apparatus

A pressing apparatus in a manner of a cage-type screw press, wherein the strainer cage is split up into a plurality of strainer-cage segments. The strainer-cage segments can be sealed along their adjacent sides with the aid of sealing devices so that liquids and solids are effectively prevented from escaping from the gaps between the strainer-cage segments.

METHOD FOR UNCLOGGING AN EXTRUDER

A method for unclogging the openwork sheath of screw extruders used for sludge densification. The sheath is formed by a stack of superposed elements that are spaced apart from one another by elastic spacers, the latter creating a gap between each of the elements. The liquid and gaseous fractions contained in the sludge are expelled through the gaps. The stack is compressed during an extrusion cycle, with the spacers thus being squashed, thereby reducing the thickness of the gaps. During an unclogging cycle, the pressure is released, the spacers then returning to their original thicknesses and in this way increasing the size of the gaps, thus making it easier to unclog the latter.

CABLED BIN FOR A CIDER PRESS
20180343904 · 2018-12-06 ·

A bin for containing an apple mash within a cider press, the bin including a multiple of staves interconnected and held together by a cable threaded through each stave. Preferably, an upper cable and a lower cable hold the staves together, with each cable received into a first terminal stave and threaded through a multiple of staves in sequence, to a second terminal stave. The cabled bin resists bending, to maintain tension and to form a full circle when bent, while rebounding flat when released. To secure the bin in the curved, cylindrical or tubular form, the bin includes a bin latch to lock the first terminal stave to the second terminal stave. When the bin is not in use in the cider press, it can be stored and easily cleaned by lying-out flat, requiring much less storage space compared to traditional bins in fruit presses.
