Systems and methods for deployment of a compacting head in a waste compartment
An example system for deployment of a compacting head in a waste compartment includes an eutectic alloy fusible link positioned within a waste compartment that breaks at or above a predetermined temperature, a spring tensioned deploy lever that is deployed based on a break of the eutectic alloy fusible link, a pivotal joint assembly that collapses based on deployment of the deploy lever, and a compacting head of a trash compactor that is deployed to compact contents of the waste compartment based on collapse of the pivotal joint assembly.
Baling press for cotton gin trash and other biomass feedstock and methods of using the same
A baling press for baling cotton gin trash and other particulate biomass feedstock. The baling press includes an infeed chute assembly, a compression ram assembly, an extrusion chamber assembly, a strapping storage and dispensing assembly, and a strapping insertion assembly. Methods of producing a bale with the baling press and a bale generated by the baling press are also described.
BALER AND A ROTARY DRIVE TRANSMISSION FOR A BALER
A rotary drive transmission is provided for a baler including a bale chamber, a plunger that compresses bale material in the bale chamber, a drive mechanism that drives reciprocating movement of the plunger, and a flywheel connected to a rotary input of the drive mechanism. The rotary drive transmission includes a rotary drive part, a rotary driven part that drives rotation of the flywheel, and a torsional drive transfer device that transfers rotary drive between the rotary drive part and the rotary driven part. The torsional drive transfer device includes a resilient element and is configured to allow limited relative rotation in the drive direction between the rotary drive part and the rotary driven part against a reaction force provided by the resilient element.
Feed device, baling press, and protection process
A feed device is for use on a baling press (1) and is for a loose fiber material (2) to be compressed. The feed device (4) has a movable and driven and possibly guided feed element (14, 15). The feed device (4) is assigned a protection device (3), which protects the drive area and possibly the guiding area of the feed device (4), in particular the bearing (19) thereof, against airborne fibers by using an opposing airstream (27).
Multiple strapping device
A multiple strapping device that provides an uninterrupted ejection cycle for a bale while at the same time strategically placing the straps, or wire ties, onto the bale, through use of a series of corkscrews which hold the straps or wire ties and advance the strap, or wire ties, as the corkscrew is rotated therein releasing the strap, or wire ties, onto the bale.
Baling press with rope knotter
A baling press having a rope tying system with a loop supply member for forming a loop of the second rope material across the bale pressing channel to the first side of the bale pressing channel and a loop of the first rope material at the first side. The loop supply member is suspended on the second side of said bale pressing channel and movable along a straight path between an extended position projecting across the bale pressing channel and a retracted position. The loop supply member has a turn guide for forming and guiding the loops in the first and second rope materials and a spreader for, when the loop supply member is in the extended position, holding the rope materials guided so that portions in the knotting area are spaced from a free end portion of the loop supply member.
Baling assembly
A baling assembly can include a housing defining an interior, an access panel coupled to the housing and providing selective access to the interior, a baling chamber within the housing, and a ram adjacent the baling chamber. The ram includes a movable wall and a driving mechanism operably coupled to the movable wall for compression of material within the baling chamber.
Improvements in Square Balers
A square baler including a baling chamber having a floor formed of spaced profiles, side walls and a top wall, and a density belt surrounding the baling chamber. The density belt is formed of a U-shaped frame having three beams welded to one another to define a floor beam for supporting the floor of the baling chamber and two upright beams for supporting the side walls of the baling chamber and a tensioning rod releasably secured to the upper ends of the two upright beams to prevent the upright beams from splaying apart.
Rectangular Baler with Improved Transmission of Forces to the Chassis
A rectangular baler including a chassis; a compacting plunger supported on the chassis for advancing crop material; and a bale chamber between the compacting plunger and the back end. The chassis is provided with a first and second sidewall extending from the front end in the direction of the back end. There is further provided a pull rod connecting the first sidewall and the second sidewall, at a location between the plunger and the front end. The pull rod has a first part and a second end part extending freely through a first hole in the first sidewall and a second hole in the second sidewall, respectively.
