Method for manufacturing an object and packaging
A method for manufacturing an object, such as a tray includes providing an unfolded sheet; providing a straight score line in the unfolded sheet for providing a division between a wall part and a flange part; folding the flange part of the sheet relative to the wall part along the score line to provide an angle larger than 45° between the flange part and the wall part; providing a plastic foil; heating the plastic foil; pressing the heated foil on the sheet at the side provided with the score line and covering at least part of the wall part and the flange part; the sheet having at least one U-shaped cut interrupting the score line. The free ends of the U-shaped cut are positioned on the score line. The bridging part of the U-shaped cut is positioned in the flange part.
CONTAINER WITH PAPERBOARD OUTER LAYER AND THIN PLASTIC FOIL INNER LAYER
A container comprising a bottom and a sidewall extending upwards from the bottom and terminating at an upper free edge, said upper free edge of the sidewall forming an opening of the container, said sidewall and said bottom comprising an outer paperboard layer and a thin inner plastic foil layer, formed in a thermoforming operation, said upper free edge of the sidewall comprising a rim portion extending past the outer surface of the paperboard layer of the sidewall. The rim portion comprises a rolled up portion of an upper portion of the outer paperboard layer of the sidewall, said rolled up portion being covered by a portion of the thin inner plastic foil layer. In this way, a stiff upper rim is provided, while allowing the use of a very thin inner plastic foil layer.
System for forming constructs that include microwave interactive material
A container that includes a microwave interactive web at least partially overlying and joined to a three-dimensional support, wherein the three-dimensional support may be formed prior to having the microwave interactive web mounted thereto. The three-dimensional support may be a preformed container that is sufficiently rigid and dimensionally stable for use in containing food.
COATING PROCESS OF SEGMENTED PAPER PULP BOTTLE BLANKS AND PRODUCTION PROCESS OF SEGMENTED PAPER PULP BOTTLES
A coating process of a segmented paper pulp bottle blank includes: S1, placing a film raw material into a bottle blank to be coated; S2, folding an upper edge of the film raw material to fix the upper edge onto a mouth of the bottom blank; S3, placing the bottle blank fixed with the film raw material into a coating mold; S4, placing a hot-air blowing pipe into the bottle blank; and S5, sucking air by the coating mold to absorb the bottle blank onto inner cavity walls of the coating mold, blowing in hot air by the hot-air blowing pipe to make the film raw materia1, after being heated and softened, to be expanded and adhered to the inner wall of the bottle blank, and finally opening the coating mold to take out a finished product. Moreover, a production process of a segmented paper pulp bottle is provided.
Packaging for Modified Atmosphere Packaging
The invention relates to a method for providing a packaging for modified atmosphere packaging, which method includes the steps of: providing an unfolded sheet for folding a box; folding the unfolded sheet to a box having at least an access opening and flange parts bordering the access opening, which flange parts compose an endless circumferential flange; providing a plastic foil; heating the plastic foil; pressing the heated plastic foil against the inner wall of the box and covering the circumferential flange, such that the plastic foil is laminated to the box. The invention further relates to a packaging.
