Method and device for embossing planar material
A method for embossing a first grating in a planar material, by means of an embossing body and a counter embossing body, having each a hard surface, the first grating to be embossed comprising alternating substantially parallel and straight ridges and recesses, whereby the top surfaces of the ridges are intended to weaken a direct angular reflection of light by diffuse omnidirectional reflection, thereby producing a visible contrast between the ridges and the recesses. The method comprises on the embossing body providing a first plurality of obtuse pyramids intended to emboss the recesses of the first grating by exerting pressure on a first side of the planar material, the first plurality of obtuse pyramids forming first intermitted lines (row1, row2) corresponding to the intended recesses, and the pyramids in each subset corresponding to one of the first intermitted lines, being separated from each other by a determined distance that creates a gap in the line in such a manner that each gap from a line of pyramids may be connected to a corresponding gap from an adjacent line of pyramids by an imaginary line perpendicular to both of the adjacent lines; and roughening portions of the hard surface of the embossing body, the portions being located between adjacent lines of pyramids and intersecting at least one of the imaginary lines that connect one gap from one line to the corresponding gap from the adjacent line. On the counter embossing body, the method comprises providing a second plurality of obtuse pyramids intended to emboss the ridges of the first grating by exerting pressure on a second side of the planar material opposite to the first side, during embossing the obtuse summits of the pyramid pressing the planar material against a roughened portion of the hard surface of the embossing body, thereby satirizing the top surfaces of the ridges on the first side.
Opening pack
In an example embodiment, a pack for tobacco articles comprises an inner sleeve, and an outer box comprising front and back covers that allow access to the inner sleeve when the outer box is opened. The inner sleeve can include a front connecting panel pivotally connecting a front wall of the inner sleeve to an inner surface of the front cover and a back connecting panel pivotally connecting a back wall of the inner sleeve to an inner surface of the back cover. A slot in the outer box is configured to allow opening of the outer box by applying pressure against a bottom wall of the inner sleeve.
A PACKAGE
The present disclosure relates to a package for a delivery system. The package includes a container and a lid hingedly connected to the container about a hinge line, and an inner frame received in the container. The inner frame has a portion that extends from the container which is received in the lid when the lid is closed. The package further includes a raised seal line that is formed on the portion of the inner frame and/or on an inner surface of the lid. The raised seal line is configured to minimize a gap between the portion of the inner frame and the inner surface of the lid when the lid is closed. The present disclosure also relates to a method of manufacturing the package.
PACKAGING MACHINE FOR A PACKAGE, AND PACKAGING METHOD THEREFOR
A packaging machine includes: a conveying machine that conveys a package blank for a package; a lid-side magnetizing roller that is supported so as to be able to come into contact with the lid-side magnetic region of the package blank, and so as to be rotatable when coming into contact, and has a permanent magnet which magnetizes a magnetic material of the lid-side magnetic region; and a body-side magnetizing roller that is supported so as to be able to come into contact with the body-side magnetic region of the package blank, and so as to be rotatable when coming into contact, and has a permanent magnet for magnetizing a magnetic material of the body-side magnetic region so as to form a predetermined magnetic distribution corresponding to a magnetic distribution in the lid-side magnetic region formed by the lid-side magnetizing roller.
Pack for smoking articles provided with two rigid containers inside one another and with a reusable closing tab and method to manufacture the closing tab
A pack for smoking articles having: an inner container housing a group of smoking articles and provided with an extraction opening for the smoking articles; a closing tab coupled to the inner container in the area of the extraction opening to close the extraction opening, the closing tab being glued to the inner container in a releasable manner; a rigid outer container that houses the inner container; and a cup-shaped lid hinged to the outer container so as to rotate, relative to the outer container, between an opening position and a closing position. The closing tab has: a plastic layer arranged internally, a through opening arranged in the area of the extraction opening, and directly glued to an outer surface of the inner container using re-stick glue; and a paper layer arranged in contact with the plastic layer and more on the outside than the plastic layer.
Paper joint without discontinuity for tube shaped paper wraps closed by means of embossed paper and re-sealable innerliner seal by means of structured innerliner
A set of thin foil surfaces configured to achieve a joint among the foil surfaces, the joint being arranged to be without discontinuity, comprising at least a first portion of surface dedicated to achieve the joint; pixelized type embossings on the first portion of surface; and at least a second portion of surface dedicated to achieve the joint. The second portion of surface is shaped to correspond to the first portion of surface for making the joint between the first portion of surface and the second portion of surface through contact.
A CONSUMABLE PACK
A pack for consumables, the pack being formed from a folded blank of material having a thickness, wherein the pack comprises a cut in an outer surface of the pack that extends only partially through the thickness of the folded blank of material.
Blank for forming a container
A blank has an upper surface and a reverse surface. The upper surface is printed in a conventional manner and includes outer side panels and inner side panels. Attachment regions are provided on the inner side panels of the outer surface, and corresponding attachment regions are provided on the outer side panels of the reverse surface. During assembly the respective attachment regions are arranged to face one another and an adhesive is provided therebetween. In the present method, the attachment regions of the upper surface initially have a surface tension in the range from around 34 dynes/cm to 60 dynes/cm before the upper surface is printed. The attachment regions are treated in order to maintain a surface tension in the desired range of 34 dynes/cm to 60 dynes/cm, following printing and before any adhesive is applied. This is achieved by applying an auxiliary printing medium to the attachment regions.
