In one aspect, the plurality of forming rollers includes at least one primary forming roller for inducing at least one fold in a portion of the material, at least one secondary forming roller, and at least one tertiary forming roller for compressing the folded material against itself into a strap-like form for use in packaging applications.

DEVICE FOR PACKAGING IN A BATCH OF AT LEAST TWO CONTAINERS

Disclosed are various embodiments of a device for packaging in a batch of at least two containers and methods of making the same. The device can be a sheet made of semi-rigid or rigid material, provided with at least two orifices for receiving necks of said containers. The sheet can have a substantially rectangular shape and include parallel rows of cups which are substantially frusto-conical, hemispherical or frusto-pyramidal. An internal wall of each cup bears against a shoulder of a container and the top of each cup has an orifice to receive the container neck. The device can be formed from a slip having decomposable and/or biodegradable vegetable fiber materials and additives, and the slip is suctioned to form the mold.
