ABSORBENT TISSUE PAPER PRODUCT, METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
The present disclosure relates to an absorbent tissue paper product comprising one ply being an essentially continuous ply of fibrous structure having a first side and a second side, the first side having a surface roughness arithmetical mean height (Sa1), and said second side having a surface roughness arithmetical mean height (Sa2). Said ply has a micro-embossed structure and a difference between the surface roughness arithmetical mean heights of the first side and the second side is 7 μm or less (|Sa1−Sa2|≤7 μm), and said ply having a bulk of at least 7.5 cm3/g. The disclosure also relates to a method and an apparatus for producing such an absorbent tissue paper product.
FOLDING WEDGE DEVICE FOR A BAG PACKAGING MACHINE
A folding wedge device for a bag packaging machine for continuously adjusting a bottom fold of a bag, comprising: a feed area for continuously feeding a flat packaging foil; a discharge area opposite the feed area for discharging the packaging foil folded centrally by means of the folding wedge device, a folding wedge with two folding wedge strips converging towards one another in a wedge shape from the feed area to the discharge area for deflecting the packaging foil; a counter tip arranged behind the folding wedge strips in the conveying direction of the packaging foil for inserting the bottom fold between the packaging foil sections folded centrally on top of one another, the folding wedge strips having end sections pointing towards the counter tip; wherein a lateral distance between the end sections of the folding wedge strips is infinitely adjustable.
STRUCTURE OF HONEYCOMB PAPER EXPANDING MACHINE
An expanding machine includes a chassis, a feeding roller carrying a honeycomb paper, a guiding roller, and an expansion roller assembly including an upper expansion roller, a lower expansion roller, and a passage gap. The upper expansion roller includes upper projection assemblies that are staggered with respect to each other. Each of the projecting assemblies includes upper projecting portions and upper supporting portions that are alternate with respect to each other. The lower expansion roller includes projecting portions and supporting portions corresponding to the upper expansion roller. When the expansion roller assembly is put into rotation, the upper projecting portions correspond to the lower supporting portion, and the lower projecting portions correspond to the upper supporting portions, so that the projections that are separately arranged may pull and expand the honeycomb paper, making it not readily compress down the honeycomb paper or generating apparent compressing marking.
MAILER FORMING APPARATUS AND METHOD OF FORMING
An improved mailer folding apparatus that forms mailers from mailer blanks. The mailer folding apparatus comprises a transport assembly and one or more folding assemblies. The transport assembly moves mailer blanks and/or mailers through the mailer folding apparatus. The one or more folding assemblies may each comprise a folding system and a carriage system. The folding system may selectively allow for the folding of a mailer blank into a mailer. A carriage of the carriage system may move the folding system longitudinally between different positions relative to the transport assembly. An engagement system separate from the carriage system or integrated into the carriage system may engage and disengage the folding system with the transport system for selectively feeding a mailer blank through the folding system, or disengage the folding system for allowing a mailer blank or folded mailer to bypass the folding system.
Method and system for processing blanks for forming constructs
A method of processing a blank for forming a construct includes obtaining the blank, the blank including a flexible material and is for being formed into a construct. The method also includes moving the blank in a downstream direction on a first guide and a second guide, and pressing an interior region of the blank with a shaping apparatus in a direction transverse to the machine direction as the blank moves in the downstream direction and as a peripheral region of the blank is engaged by at least one shaping bracket.
Construction of tubular assemblies
A method and apparatus for constructing a tubular assembly 40 comprising an inner portion (24) and a further portion (23) surrounding the inner portion. The inner portion (24) comprises reinforcement (37) and the further portion (23) being formed from a strip (50) of material comprising two opposed longitudinal marginal side portions (53). The apparatus comprises an assembly station (220) comprising a wall (253). The apparatus comprises means for advancing the inner portion (21) along a first path (231) extending passed the wall (253), and means for advancing the strip (50) along a second path (232) and causing the strip to encircle the wall (253) and thereby wrap about and surround the inner portion (21). The apparatus further comprises means (321) for introducing resinous binder into the reinforcement (37) as the strip (50) is being wrapped about the inner portion (21).
STIRRER DISPENSER FOR A BEVERAGE VENDING MACHINE
A beverage vending machine with a stirrer dispenser configured to form and dispense disposable stirrersfrom a strip made of food-grade material, preferably biodegradable or compostable and preferably plastic-free and waterproof. The stirrer dispenser comprises a detaching device configured either to detach, or to allow manual detachment of, an end piece of the stripwith such a length as to be usable as a stirrer.
