Sheet humidifying device, method, and cardboard sheet manufacturing device
A sheet humidifying device, a method, and a cardboard sheet manufacturing device are provided with: a pre-heating roll that has an outer peripheral surface on which a corrugating medium is wrapped; and a humidified water jetting device that jets humidified water onto the outer peripheral surface of the pre-heating roll on which the corrugating medium has not been wrapped.
CORRUGATED FIBERBOARD SHEET MANUFACTURING APPARATUS
“A controller of a corrugated fiberboard sheet manufacturing apparatus can execute a steady operation where a corrugating roll rotates at a first set speed, a deceleration operation where the corrugating roll is decelerated to a second set speed, and an acceleration operation where the corrugating roll is accelerated to a third set speed. In the steady operation, the controller set an on-off valve to a closed state for steam supply to a hollow portion at a first set pressure by a pressure adjusting valve. In the deceleration operation, the controller maintains states of the valves. In the acceleration operation, the controller switches the on-off valve to an open state, and adjusts the pressure adjusting valve for steam supply to the hollow portion at a second set pressure.”
Hot plate for double facer for the production of corrugated board and double facer comprising a plurality of said plates
The hot plate (11) includes an upper plate (61) joined to a lower plate (63) along respective sides parallel to each other. A heat transfer fluid circulation chamber (65) is defined between the upper plate (61) and the lower plate (63), with at least a first inlet (83) of the heat transfer fluid and at least a first outlet (87) of the heat transfer fluid. The lower plate (63) has two downwardly bent edges (63.2), extending along the sides of the upper plate joined to the lower plate. Stiffening ribs (79) are joined to the lower plate (63), along the heat transfer fluid circulation chamber, and to the downwardly folded edges (63.2s) of the lower plate (63).
Hot plate steam system
Disclosed herein is a method and apparatus for improving the heating capacity of steam-heated hot plates, and in particular, to steam-heated hot plates used in the corrugating industry. One or more separators and thermocompressors are added to the output of the hot plates to separate blow through steam from condensate and pressurize and inject the steam back into the hot plates.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A MULTIPLE LAYER MATERIAL
A system for producing a multiple layer material (49), comprising first and second corrugation rolls (14, 15) for providing a corrugated profile (16) having a plurality of crests (47), wherein the system further comprises first and second press rolls (21, 22) for applying a material sheet (19, 20) to crests (47) of the corrugated profile (16), and a plurality of heating members (28) arranged between the press rolls (21, 22) for welding the material sheet (19, 20) to the crests (47) of the corrugated profile (16) to form the multiple layer material (49). A guiding plate (48) is arranged between the corrugation 10 rolls (14, 15) and the heating members (28). The guiding plate (16) is arranged with a profile engaging side (50) having a plurality of crests (52) corresponding to the crests (47) of the corrugated profile (16). A cooling arrangement is provided for cooling the guiding plate (48). A method for producing the multiple layer material (49) is also disclosed.
Systems and methods for forming corrugated boards with ultrasound
Systems and methods for forming corrugated boards are disclosed. The system includes a single face unit configured to form a single face board having a fluted layer and an outer liner. The system also includes a single face buffer configured to store or hold a length of the single face board. The system has a glue station configured to attach a second outer liner to the single face board to form a single wall board. The system also has an ultrasonic unit configured to apply ultrasonic vibrations to the single wall board. The ultrasonic vibrations are configured to remove moisture from the single wall board, activate, heat, and/or dry an adhesive used to attach the fluted layer and the outer liners, and/or cause the fibers of the fluted layer and the outer liners to weave, intertwine, or otherwise stick together.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PRODUCING A THREE-DIMENSIONALLY DEFORMED PLATE
A method for manufacturing a three-dimensionally deformed plate made of a wood fiber material comprises providing a prefabricated, flat wood fiber material plate as the original plate, preheating the original plate in sections, wetting the preheated section of the original plate with an atomized liquid mixture of water and a separating agent, introducing a section of the original plate that is preheated and wetted with a liquid mixture of water and a separating agent between two rollers of a molding station, wherein the rollers respectively provide a corrugated profile in the peripheral direction of the external surface, such that the original plate is being deformed in sections into a plate with a wave shape, wherein rollers are being used, the respective profiling of which has half-waves which follow one another in the peripheral direction and which at least partially have a different extension in the peripheral direction.
