Two actuators raise and lower the pivoting arms and the guide rollers. A hinge system allows to keep the pivoting structure cantilevered to replace the continuous flexible member.

The single facer includes a load-bearing frame and a pivoting structure pivoted to the load-bearing frame about a pivoting axis. The pivoting structure includes a first pivoting arm on a first side of the single facer and a second pivoting arm on a second side of the single facer. The pivoting structure supports two guide rollers of a continuous flexible member which applies pressure against a corrugating roller. An actuator system controls the traction and position of the continuous flexible member.

The invention concerns a corrugating roll for producing a corrugated web, having a fluting, from a material web. The corrugating roll has a corrugating roll body, a central longitudinal axis, a peripheral direction about the central longitudinal axis and a surface fluting with at least one first corrugating tooth, which is arranged peripherally on the corrugating roll body, and at least one second corrugating tooth arranged peripherally on the corrugating roll body and which differs from the at least one first corrugating tooth for reducing corrugating roll operation-related vibrations.

A corrugating roll unit conveyance apparatus includes a mounting base having a first accommodation part for accommodating a corrugating roll unit to be removed and a second accommodation part for accommodating a corrugating roll unit to be installed; and a movement device for moving the mounting base to a first replacement position at which the first accommodation part faces the existing corrugating roll unit, a second replacement position at which the second accommodation part faces a space from which the existing corrugating roll unit has been removed, and a retracted position separated from the first replacement position and the second replacement position.

The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for the production of a corrugated cardboard product. The apparatus comprises a first one-sided machine and a second one-sided machine which are provided in each case with a press-down belt and with a first and a second grooving roller respectively. The first and the second grooving roller are designed for embossing a wave profile onto a first and a second paper web respectively. The press-down belts serve, together with the respective grooving rollers, for connecting the first and the second paper webs in each case to a non-corrugated web for the production of a first and a second single-flute corrugated cardboard web respectively. The first one-sided machine is equipped with a first oblique guide roller, the axis of rotation of which is inclined at a vertical inclination angle between side margins of the first paper web.
Plant comprising a single facer, and method
The plant includes at least one single facer, having a supporting structure, adapted to receive a corrugating unit provided with a first corrugating roller and a second corrugating roller meshing with each other. The plant also includes a magazine having a plurality of seats for receiving corrugating units and movable along a first guide. Associated with the single facer there is provided a shuttle movable between the single facer and the guide of the magazine, adapted to transfer corrugating units from the single facer to the magazine and vice versa.
