Hygienic tissue paper
A hygienic tissue paper includes first slits that are disposed in a longitudinal direction at predetermined intervals, the first slits extending in a width direction intersecting the longitudinal direction, wherein the first slits each include perforations, and wherein a cut length of each of the perforations increases from at least one end in the width direction toward a central portion in the width direction.
THERMOPLASTIC BAGS WITH DRAWTAPES HAVING RIBBED DEFORMATION PATTERNS FOR REDUCED FRICTION AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME
The present disclosure relates to thermoplastic bags having a drawtape within a hem, where the drawtape includes a deformation pattern of a plurality of ribs and a plurality of web areas. The plurality of ribs can include ribs that extend across the drawtape in a non-parallel direction with respect to the width of the drawtape (e.g., at an angle). In some instances, the non-parallel direction causes each rib to point towards a hem hole of the hem that exposes a portion of the drawtape. The plurality of ribs can further be mirrored across an axis that corresponds to a length of the drawtape. In some cases, the ribs are formed via a structural elastic-like film (SELF) process, such as a phased SELF process that leaves a portion of the drawtape without ribs.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR HEATING AN EMBOSSING ROLLER IN AN EMBOSSING-LAMINATING DEVICE
An embossing device and a method for embossing, employing an electromagnetic induction device such as to induce an eddy current prevalently on the outer surface of an embossing roller. The eddy currents are such as to prevalently heat the outer surface of the embossing roller.
AEROSOL-GENERATING ARTICLE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF THE SAME
The present disclosure provides an aerosol-generating article including an aerosol generator including: an aerosol generator comprising an aerosol-generating material configure to vaporize into an aerosol; a tobacco filling part comprising an inner wrapper on which a plurality of folds are formed, and granules of a tobacco material attached to the plurality of folds such that a tobacco component is added to the aerosol passing through the tobacco filling part; and a thermally conductive wrapper wrapped around at least part of outer surfaces of the aerosol generator and the tobacco filling part, and configured to transmit heat to the aerosol-generating material and the tobacco material.
Device for micro-embossing of paper and paper processing line comprising said device
A device for micro-embossing paper includes at least one micro-embossing unit to micro-emboss a wet paper ply. The micro-embossing unit includes a micro-embossing cylinder and a counter cylinder facing the micro-embossing cylinder at an embossing area where the wet paper ply is subjected to micro-embossing, and a heater to dry the wet paper ply. The micro-embossing cylinder includes a side surface partially wrapped by the wet paper ply. The heater heats at least one portion of the side surface partially wrapped by the wet paper ply to dry the wet paper ply.
Durable and dispersible creped multi-ply tissue
Disclosed are multi-ply tissue products comprising a non-crosslinked binder that are durable and dispersible. The products generally have a Slosh time less than 2 minutes, such as less than about 60 seconds, such as less than about 45 seconds. Surprisingly, the foregoing Slosh times are achieved despite the tissue products having relatively high cross-machine direction (CD) wet tensile strength, such as greater than about 100 g/3″. Typically, increasing wet tensile strength, particularly wet CD tensile strength, negatively effects dispersability and increases Slosh time. Despite this trend, the present invention surprisingly provides a tissue product having a relatively high degree of wet strength and good dispersability.
MACHINE AND METHOD FOR EMBOSSING PAPER WEB PRODUCTS
A machine for embossing, including at least one pair of embossing nips for plies of paper, at least one laminating nip to bond the plies of paper, a pair of embossing cylinders, each having on its surface a respective plurality of embossing protrusions, each defining a wrap angle for the at least one ply of paper, and defining therebetween a transfer nip, a pair of pressure cylinders, each associated with a respective one of the embossing cylinder, the embossing nip being defined between each pair formed of embossing cylinder and pressure cylinder, a laminating device for bonding the plies delivered from the transfer nip, at least one distribution device of material to facilitate ply-bonding arranged upstream of the laminating device, and at least one heating device for at least one of the embossing cylinders.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A PAPER ROLL WITH SMOOTH PLIES AND RELATIVE ROLL
A method for producing a paper roll by conveying a first smooth ply between an upper embossing roll with first projections defining a decorative motif, and a glue distribution or cliché roll; maintaining the cliché roll side by side to the upper embossing roll, the first ply interposed between the upper embossing roll and the cliché roll and subjected to incisions and to glue deposits at the first projections on one side of the first ply facing towards the upper embossing roll and on the opposite side of the first ply facing towards the cliché roll; conveying a second ply between the upper embossing roll and a coupling or marriage roll; maintaining the marriage roll side by side to the upper embossing roll by exerting a coupling pressure to perform the final coupling between the first ply and the second ply at the glue deposits forming a multilayer paper.
TISSUE PRODUCTS HAVING EMBOSS ELEMENTS WITH REDUCED BUNCHING AND METHODS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
Products having reducing tissue wrinkling, puckering, and bunching and improved emboss definition, emboss visibility, and perceived softness are described. The methods comprise embossing the tissue sheet with a emboss elements having segments aligned in the machine direction and including an abatement component, such as a tapered width or a multi dual-apex, that can absorb machine direction stretch during the production of the product.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING MULTI-LAYERED BOARD HAVING AT LEAST THREE MEDIUMS WITH AT LEAST TWO MEDIUMS BEING DIFFERENT
A system and method for producing a board product characterized by having two corrugated mediums and at least one embossed medium in the board product. The board product may further include one or more facings that are adhesively coupled to either the corrugated medium, the embossed medium, or both. Generally speaking, a corrugated medium may be characterized as a paper product that exhibits flutes induced by a cross-corrugating process such that the induced flutes are perpendicular (or at least not congruent) with the machine direction of the paper product. An embossed medium may be characterized as a paper product that exhibits flutes induced by a linear-embossing process such that the induced flutes are aligned with the machine direction of the paper product. A resultant board product is stronger and more efficiently produced because of the linearly-embossed medium harnessing the natural strength of the paper in the machine direction.
