A metallic lustrous member with radio wave transmissibility is provided, which is capable of being easily produced, while ensuring a structure in which not only chromium or indium but also any of some other metals such as aluminum is formed as a metal layer on a continuous surface of any of various materials, and also an article using the member is provided. A production method for a metallic lustrous member with radio wave transmissibility, which is capable of easily forming, as a metal layer, not only chromium or indium but also any of some other metals such as aluminum, on a continuous surface of any of various materials. The metallic lustrous member comprises a substrate having radio wave transmissibility, and an aluminum layer formed directly on a continuous surface of the substrate. The aluminum layer has a discontinuous region including a plurality of separated segments which are mutually discontinuous.

RECONFIGURABLE WALL PANELS

Reinforced panels include a layer of glass joined to a substrate to support the glass. Connectors are joined to the side of the substrate opposite the glass to enable the reinforced panel to be configured with and/or attached to a modular wall system. The glass can be backpainted prior to joining to the substrate, and/or a film can be included in the reinforced tile disposed between the glass panel and the substrate. A reinforced panel includes a conductive material disposed between a glass layer and a substrate to form a touch-responsive section. One or more intermediate layers disposed between the glass layer and the substrate are included. The one or more intermediate layers have sufficient elastic deformability so as to enable the reinforced panel to tolerate differences in thermal expansion between the substrate and the glass layer without resulting in cracking of the glass layer.

MAGNETIC DISK SUBSTRATE AND MAGNETIC DISK USING MAGNETIC DISK SUBSTRATE

A magnetic disk substrate includes an aluminum alloy including one type or two or more types of Fe: 8.5 mass % or less, Mn: 2.5 mass % or less, Ni: 6.5 mass % or less, and Mg: 4.5 mass % or less, a balance being Al and unavoidable impurities, wherein, when f (Hz) is a resonance frequency, ρ (g/cm.sup.3) is a density, and t (mm) is a plate thickness, (f×ρ/t) is 3800 or greater; and a magnetic disk using the magnetic disk substrate.

An object of the present invention is to provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition that enables a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer to be formed, wherein the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer has a low dielectric constant, is excellent in level difference conformability and transparency while maintaining adhesive strength and adhesion reliability at high temperatures, and suitable for laminating a metal mesh film and the like. The pressure-sensitive adhesive composition of the present invention contains an acrylic polymer (A), a mixture of monomer components constituting the acrylic polymer (A) or a partially polymerized product of a mixture of monomer components constituting the acrylic polymer (A), and a hydrogenated polyolefinic resin (B) that exhibits liquid flowability at 25° C. The pressure-sensitive adhesive composition comprises a branched-chain alkyl group having 10 to 24 carbon atoms as a monomer component. The hydrogenated polyolefinic resin (B) has a number average molecular weight (Mn) of 1000 to 5000 and a polydispersity (Mw/Mn) of 2.0 or less. The hydrogenated polyolefinic resin (B) contains at least one selected from the group consisting of a hydrogenated polyolefin and a hydrogenated polyolefin polyol. The pressure-sensitive adhesive composition comprises 3 to 35 parts by weight of the hydrogenated polyolefinic resin (B) based on 100 parts by weight of the acrylic polymer (A).
