LAMINATED GLAZING HAVING AN INFORMATION ACQUISITION SYSTEM VIEWING AREA
A laminated glazing to be used with an information acquisition system includes a first glass sheet; a first interlayer; a photopolymer film; a second interlayer; a second glass sheet; and a first information acquisition system viewing area for transmitting information to be collected by the information acquisition system wherein the photopolymer film provides an evenly patterned area in the first information acquisition system viewing area.
Luminous curved glass and curved digital signage
The present invention aims to provide a luminescent curved glass which, despite being curved with a small radius of curvature, can provide a clear display on its entire surface when irradiated with light, and curved digital signage including the luminescent curved glass. Provided is a luminescent curved glass including a laminate including a transparent plate having a radius of curvature of 3,000 mm or lower and a luminescent sheet, the luminescent sheet containing a thermoplastic resin and a luminescent material that emits visible light having a wavelength of 380 to 750 nm under excitation light.
Windshield for eliminating ghost images of a head up display system
A substrate, such as a windshield, includes: a first glass element; a second glass element; and a light absorptive element that is disposed directly between the second glass element and the first glass element, that is configured to receive and absorb light output by an image source.
Luminous glazed vehicle roof, vehicle incorporating same and manufacture
The present invention relates to a luminous vehicle sunroof that includes a first glazing with first and second main faces, a light-emitting element such as an OLED or QLED and a collimating optical system with one or more optical films.
Laminated pane with functional element having electrically controllable optical properties
A laminated pane with a functional element with electrically controllable optical properties, includes a laminated stack sequence composed of an outer pane, a first intermediate layer, a second intermediate layer, and an inner pane, and a functional element with electrically controllable optical properties, which functional element is arranged, at least in sections, between the first intermediate layer and the second intermediate layer, wherein at least one transparent body is arranged between the outer pane and the functional element and/or between the inner pane and the functional element in sections.
VEHICLE
The present vehicle includes a projection device installed in the vehicle; and a laminated glass configured to transmit a light beam emitted from the projection device to a vehicle exterior side. The laminated glass includes a vehicle-interior-side glass plate; a vehicle-exterior-side glass plate; an interlayer bonding the vehicle-interior-side glass plate and the vehicle-exterior-side glass plate; and a scattering layer arranged between the vehicle-exterior-side glass plate and the vehicle-interior-side glass plate, and in contact with the interlayer, the scattering layer being configured to be irradiated with the light beam. A relationship between visible light transmittance Tv (%) of the laminated glass and an angle of incidence θ (degrees) to the scattering layer of each ray included in the light beam incident on the scattering layer satisfies Formula (1) described in the description.
Coated articles and methods of making same
A coated substrate. The coated substrate includes a unitary substrate having a major surface. A first coating is applied to a first surface segment of the major surface. A second coating applied to a second surface segment of the major surface. The first coating is different than the second coating.
MULTIPLE GLAZING UNIT
A multiple glazing unit having two outermost glass panes and at least one inner glass pane, where at least two intermediate gas-filled cavities each lie between two glass panes, the at least one inner glass pane bearing one metal-based insulating coating on one face and one transparent conductive oxide-based insulating coating on the opposite face, and a process for making the glazing.
Method for producing a laminated pane
A method for producing a laminated pane, wherein a first laminating film, a carrier film, and a second laminating film are provided and joined to form a pre-laminate, wherein the first laminating film, the carrier film, and the second laminating film have the same film thickness, a compensating film and the pre-laminate are arranged to form a layer stack between a first pane and a second pane, wherein, parallel to two side edges of the layer stack, in each case a strip-shaped peripheral film is arranged and the compensating film is provided to compensate an offset between the pre-laminate and the peripheral films, and the layer stack including the first pane, the pre-laminate, the compensating film with peripheral films, and the second pane is laminated to form a laminated pane, wherein the first laminating film and the second laminating film have a plasticizer content of less than 15 wt.-%.
Coated glass pane
A coated glass pane and a method of preparing same comprising at least the following layers in sequence: a glass substrate; a lower anti-reflection layer, a silver-based functional layer; a barrier layer; an upper dielectric layer; and a topmost dielectric layer which comprises an oxide of zinc (Zn), tin (Sn) and zirconium (Zr); and wherein the amount of zirconium in the topmost dielectric layer comprises at least 10 atomic percent zirconium.
