The heat control member can include reinforced aerogel compositions that are durable and easy to handle, have favorable performance for use as heat control members and thermal barriers for batteries, have favorable insulation properties, and have favorable reaction to fire, combustion and flame-resistance properties. Also provided are methods of preparing or manufacturing such reinforced aerogel compositions. In certain embodiments, the composition has a silica-based aerogel framework reinforced with a fiber and including one or more opacifying additives.
COMPOSITELY STRUCTURED INSULATION ADHESIVE FILM AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
The insulation adhesive film material is composed of a three-layer structure, its insulation polymer composite is supported by a thin film material, and a surface of the insulation polymer composite is covered with a layer of protective film. A release force of a support film is 25-60 μN/mm, and a release force of the protective film is 2-60 μN/mm. A thickness of the insulation polymer composite is 1-300 μm. The insulation adhesive film material is prepared as follows: after a high molecular polymer, an inorganic filler, a high molecular polymer curing agent, a molding auxiliary agent, and a solvent are mixed, dispersion technologies such as ball milling, sand milling, ultrasound are conducted to prepare an electronic paste of the insulation polymer composite, and the electronic paste is then applied to a surface of a support film material, and bonded with the protective film to form the insulation adhesive film material.
RESIN FILM FOR TERMINAL, AND POWER STORAGE DEVICE USING THE SAME
A resin film for a terminal according to one aspect of the present disclosure is for covering the outer peripheral surface of part of a metal terminal that constitutes a power storage device, and includes a resin layer containing: a polyethylene; and a compatibilizer having a region which is compatible with the polyethylene and a region which is compatible with polypropylene.
Polymeric feed-thru for chronic implantable devices
A method of making a feed-thru connector assembly includes inserting a conductor within an opening within a housing of a pulse generator and dispensing a sealant in a gap between the conductor and portions of the housing adjacent to the conductor that define the opening of the housing and curing the sealant to form a seal comprising a polyisobutylene cross-linked network.
