The invention relates to a layered material, comprising a substrate and at least one layer A, wherein the at least one layer A comprises at least 50 wt % of a branched copolyester, wherein wt % is with respect to the total weight of layer A, and wherein the branched copolyester has a melting temperature of between 125° C. and 185° C., Mz/Mw of at least 3.5, and having a Melt Flow Index (MFI) of at most 10 g/10 min as measured at 190° C. with 2.16 kg. The invention also relates to a film comprising at least one layer A.
DISPLAY DEVICE
A display device which includes a display panel and a protection member above the display panel. The protection member may include an adhesive layer above the display panel, a first protection layer above the adhesive layer, and a second protection layer between the first protection layer and the adhesive layer. The first protection layer may have a first thickness and a first modulus, and the second protection layer may have a second thickness less than the first thickness and a second modulus less than the first modulus. The minimum value of the second thickness may be 20 μm, and the maximum value of the second thickness may satisfy Equation (1) below. The display device, which includes the protection member including the second protection layer satisfying Equation (1), may improve impact resistance and maintain reliability.

Method of manufacturing curved thin glass sheet having functional layer and method of manufacturing curved joined glass sheet having functional layer
The present invention relates to a method capable of easily manufacturing a curved thin glass sheet and a curved joined glass sheet to which functionality is added.
Managing condensation with fluid control film apparatus
A condensation management apparatus comprises a microstructured film arranged to condense water vapor on an underside of a substantially horizontal surface. The film comprises channels disposed at least on a first major surface and configured to support capillary movement of condensate. The channels have a channel axis substantially parallel with a longitudinal axis of the film. A capillary siphon structure of the film comprises a fold in the film, a condensate collection region proximate the fold, and a siphon region between the fold and a condensate release location of the film. At least a portion of a second major surface is attached to the underside of the substantially horizontal surface such that longitudinal openings of the channels of the condensate collection region are oriented towards a direction of gravity and the condensate release location is positioned lower along the direction of gravity than the condensate collection region.
Multilayer dental appliances and related methods and systems
A dental appliance for positioning a patient's teeth includes a removable orthodontic tooth positioning appliance having teeth receiving cavities shaped to directly receive at least some of the patient's teeth and apply a resilient positioning force to the patient's teeth. The appliance includes a hard polymer layer having a hard polymer layer elastic modulus disposed between a first soft polymer layer having a first soft polymer layer elastic modulus and a second soft polymer layer having a second soft polymer layer elastic modulus. The hard polymer layer elastic modulus is greater than each of the first soft polymer layer elastic modulus and the second soft polymer layer elastic modulus. At least one of the first soft polymer layer and the second soft polymer layer has a flexural modulus of greater than about 35,000 psi.
Sorting method
A resin granule mass including a plurality of resin granules, and a proportion of resin granules to which a magnetic foreign matter of 50 μm or greater is adhered in the plurality of resin granules is 30% or less.
Decorative print member and display device including the same
A decorative print member and a display device including the decorative print member are provided. The decorative print member includes a base layer, a first decorative print pattern disposed on the base layer, and a shielding layer disposed over the first decorative print pattern. The first decorative print pattern includes a first decorative print layer disposed on the base layer, and a second decorative print layer disposed on the first decorative print layer. The shielding layer covers upper and side surfaces of the second decorative print layer, and a side surface of the first decorative print layer protrudes outwardly from the side surface of the second decorative print layer and a side surface of the shielding layer.
PLANAR COMPOSITE MATERIAL
A sheetlike composite material including at least one layer A of a nonwoven thermoplastic fiber web or a thermoplastic film, and at least two unidirectional oriented-fiber layers B and B′, the layers B and B′ having a bidirectional fiber orientation. The layers are not only needled but also stitched to one another.
OPTICAL SWITCH DEVICES
A security device includes an array of lenses and a plurality of first and second segments disposed under the array of lenses. At a first viewing angle, the array of lenses presents a first image for viewing without presenting the second image for viewing, and at a second viewing angle different from the first viewing angle, the array of lenses presents for viewing the second image without presenting the first image for viewing. At least one first or second segment can include one or more microstructures or one or more nanostructures configured to produce one or more colors for the first or second image.
PROCESS FOR PRODUCING RESINOUS PANEL
A process for producing a resinous panel which is for use as at least some of the front panel of an article, the process including (A) a step in which a resin sheet having a thickness of 0.5-10 mm is fixed to a working table and (B) a step in which the resin sheet is punched out by forcing a Thomson blade into the resin sheet approximately perpendicularly thereto from the side where the surface of the resin sheet is to be the outer surface of the article, thereby obtaining the front panel, wherein (C) the Thomson blade is a double-edged blade having an edge angle of 30-60 degrees. The resin sheet has a tensile modulus of preferably 1,500 MPa or greater. Preferably, the resin sheet includes a transparent resin sheet layer and a colored resin sheet layer in this order from the surface that is to be the outer surface of the article. The colored resin sheet is one which does not break when a DuPont impact test was conducted in accordance with ASTM-D2794 in a 0° C. environment under the conditions of a height of 50 cm, an impactor diameter of 1 inch, an impactor weight of 1 Kg, and a pedestal diameter of ½ inch.
