Non-cohesive designs for heat transfer sheets and methods for forming non-cohesive designs
The present invention provide a multi-layered heat transfer sheet comprising a plurality of distinct pieces forming one or more consecutive patterns that form shapes or objects having discontinuous peripheries, as well as a method for producing and/or making said item. The method for forming the heat transfer decorations includes ablating one or more layers of a heat transfer sheet using a defocused laser to define at least one plurality of discrete pieces that together define a heat transfer decoration. A single pass of the defocused laser may ablate the one or more layers of the heat transfer sheet so as to define the discrete pieces.

HOT MELT ADHESIVE COMPOSITION AND USE THEREOF
The sprayable olefin-based hot melt adhesive and absorbent articles comprising the adhesive are disclosed. The sprayable olefin-based hot melt adhesive is particularly suitable for spraying at low application temperatures. The sprayable low application temperature hot melt adhesives have high green strength, excellent bond strength and aging performance. Moreover, the sprayable low application temperature hot melt adhesives allows for thin bond lines without bleed-through and burn-through risks for heat-sensitive substrates.
DISPERSIBLE ADHESIVELY BONDED TISSUE LAMINATE
Disclosed is a dispersible adhesively bonded wet tissue laminate and more particularly a dispersible wet wipe comprising two or more adhesively bonded tissue plies. Generally, the wipe comprises first, and second tissue plies adhesively bonded to one another by an adhesive, particularly a triggerable binder, disposed at the interface of the plies. The first and second tissue plies preferably comprise fibrous tissue plies and more preferably wet-laid tissue plies consisting essentially of conventional papermaking fibers. The adhesively bonded laminates are generally strong enough to withstand use, such as having a geometric mean wet tensile strength (GMWT) greater than about 250 g/in, but disperse quickly in water, such as having a Slosh Time less than about 60 minutes.
SEALANT FILM, LAMINATE FILM, AND PACKAGING MATERIAL
A sealant film is provided in which a surface resin layer (A), an adhesive resin layer (B), a release resin layer (C), and a heat seal resin layer (D) are laminated. The adhesive resin layer (B) contains a thermoplastic elastomer (b1) and a tackifier resin (b2). The release resin layer (C) contains 40% by mass or more of an ethylene ionomer (c1) with a polar group concentration exceeding 5.5 mol % in a resin component contained in the release resin layer (C). The release resin layer (C) further contains 0 to 60% by mass of an ethylene ionomer (c2) with a polar group concentration of 5.5 mol % or less in the resin component contained in the release resin layer (C). The heat seal resin layer (D) contains an ethylene resin (d1).
CONSTRUCTION BOARDS HAVING A PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE LAYER
Roof covering (I) for flat roofs, comprises (A) a polymeric sealing layer and (C) a self-adhesive layer, separated by a soft elastomeric intermediate layer (B).
Optical adhesive and optical laminates and lenses formed with same
The present invention pertains to polyurethane-urea based optical adhesives for formation of optical film laminates, optically functional film laminates, and ophthalmic or eyeglass lenses employing the same and methods for producing the same.
METHODS FOR PREPARING FUNCTIONAL OPTICAL FILMS
The disclosure provides post-production methods for functionalization of optical quality films produced by top tier manufactures. The methods disclosed herein allow for the incorporation of different additives into existing films.
HOT MELT TAPE FOR VELCRO WITHOUT SEWING AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SEAT PADDING MATERIAL FOR VEHICLES USING THE SAME
Disclosed are a hot melt tape for hook-and-loop fasteners without sewing which may be adhered at a low temperature and complete hardening of an adhesive resin in a short time and a method for manufacturing a seat padding material for vehicles using the same. The method includes preparing the padding material and a hook-and-loop fabric, preparing a hot melt tape having a hot melt resin layer by coating a surface of a release paper with a reactive hot melt resin having a melting point of 40-80° C. before reacting, adhering the hot melt tape to a surface of the padding material by applying heat of a temperature of 30-70° C. and pressure thereto, removing the release paper, adhering the hook-and-loop fabric to the exposed hot melt resin layer, and hardening the hot melt resin layer by cooling the padding material and the hook-and-loop fabric to a temperature of 0-20° C.
Adhesive composition and preparation method and use thereof
The invention relates to an adhesive composition, the preparation and use of said composition, and an article obtained by bonding using said composition. The adhesive composition comprises: a. an anionic aqueous polyurethane dispersion, which contains a polyurethane with enthalpy of fusion of at least 3 J/g, wherein the enthalpy of fusion is measured by DSC at 20° C.-100° C. of the first heating curve according to DIN 65467; and wherein said aqueous polyurethane dispersion has a hydroxyl content of 0.001% by weight to 0.085% by weight, relative to the total weight of the aqueous polyurethane dispersion; and b. an aqueous polyacrylate primary dispersion with a hydroxyl content of 0.5% by weight to 1.8% by weight, relative to the total weight of the aqueous polyacrylate primary dispersion; wherein the amount of the aqueous polyurethane dispersion is 30% by weight to 91% by weight, and the amount of the aqueous polyacrylate primary dispersion is 9% by weight to 70% by weight, the above weight percentages being relative to the total weight of the adhesive composition.
