SHEET LAMINATOR AND IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM INCORPORATING THE SHEET LAMINATOR
A sheet laminator includes a thermal fixing roller pair, a first heater, a second heater, multiple temperature detectors, and a driver. The thermal fixing roller pair includes a first thermal fixing roller and a second thermal fixing roller facing the first thermal fixing roller. The thermal fixing roller pair thermally fixes and conveys a two-ply sheet and a sheet medium nipped between two sheets of the two-ply sheet. The first heater heats the first thermal fixing roller. The second heater heats the second thermal fixing roller. The multiple temperature detectors are at different positions along an axial direction of the thermal fixing roller pair. The multiple temperature detectors detect a surface temperature of the thermal fixing roller pair. The driver drives the thermal fixing roller pair.
Lining drum
A lining drum which has a tubular body having open ends, an inlet for compressed air and an outlet for liner is disclosed. The lining drum has end pieces removably attached to the tubular body for closing the open ends of the tubular body, a rotatable shaft inside the tubular body and a crank for rotating the shaft. An elastic fastener has a first end in operative engagement with the tubular body and a second end in operative engagement with the end piece. The second end is opposite the first end. The end piece is movable between a closed position and an open position by extending the elastic fastener against an elastic biasing force of the elastic fastener. The end piece and the tubular body has a gap defined therebetween when the end piece is in the open position.
The end piece has a spring-loaded flange mounting, wherein bias of springs pushes the flange mounting towards the tubular body and a closed position of the flange mounting, and air pressure inside the lining drum pushes the flange mounting away from the tubular body and towards an open position of the flange mounting.

Methods and apparatus for thermal compensation during additive manufacturing
A method for thermal compensation during an additive manufacturing process. In some aspects, the method may include receiving, at a CNC machine, information relating to a material used in the additive manufacturing process, wherein the received information includes at least a Coefficient for Thermal Expansion (CTE) for the material. The method may further include modifying a distance of travel for a first pre-programmed tool path based on at least the Coefficient for Thermal Expansion (CTE).
Automotive repair systems including handheld extruder
A repair system that includes a handheld device comprising a first extruder tip having an interior passageway extending between an inlet and a tip outlet, wherein the inlet is configured to receive a solid thermoplastic material and the tip outlet is configured to dispense a fluidic thermoplastic material; a nozzle surrounding the first extruder tip to form an annulus between an interior surface of the nozzle and an exterior surface of the first extruder tip; and a heater that is configured to heat the interior passageway of the first extruder tip such that the solid thermoplastic material becomes the fluidic thermoplastic material. In some embodiments, the repair system also includes a gas source in fluid communication with the annulus such that a skirt-shaped curtain of gas extends from the annulus and in a direction towards the tip outlet of the extruder tip.
SHEET LAMINATOR AND IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM INCORPORATING THE SHEET LAMINATOR
A sheet laminator including a thermal pressure roller, a power cutoff device, a mover, a power line, and circuitry. The thermal pressure roller pair includes first and second rollers, and first and second heaters, to form a nip region to press and convey a two-ply sheet. The power cutoff device detects a change in temperature of at least one of the first or second roller, and cuts off a power to at least one of the first or second heater. The mover relatively moves the second roller away from the first roller. The power line couples the power cutoff device to the mover. The circuitry is to cause the power cutoff device to cut off the power line, and cause the mover to relatively move the second roller away from the first roller, in response to the power cutoff to at least one of the first or second heater.
