The porous membrane may include at least one thermoplastic polymer, at least one filler, and at least one processing oil. The porous membrane may be flat or may have ribs. The porous membrane may include at least one scrim component.

A bacterial cellulose-based air filter mesh and use thereof are disclosed. The bacterial cellulose-based air filter mesh comprises a three-layer structure, in which a layer of a bacterial cellulose-based filter mesh is sandwiched by two layers of polymer fiber filter meshes; wherein the polymer fiber filter mesh is a mesh having a uniform grid size formed from polymer fibers by blended-yarn weaving; and the bacterial cellulose-based filter mesh is formed by in-situ synthesis of bacterial cellulose on a non-woven fabric through fermentation by bacteria. The bacterial cellulose-based air filter mesh has better particle filtering effect, better formaldehyde adsorption capacity, better antibacterial performance and good electrostatic capacity; and it can be used for producing gauze windows, air conditioning filters, air purification filters and the like, and has a wide range of applications.

Provided is an asphalt reinforcement, and more particularly, to an asphalt reinforcement, which is applicable to asphalt pavement without tack coat application and curing processes, and a method of repairing asphalt pavement using the same. The asphalt reinforcement of the present invention includes: a reinforcing fiber layer having a plurality of holes formed therein; a film layer, which is breathable or non-breathable, includes at least one resin selected from the group consisting of polypropylene, polyethylene, ethylene vinyl acetate, polyethylene elastomers, polypropylene elastomers, polybutene, and thermoplastic polyurethane, and has a melting point of 90° C. to 130° C.; and a nonwoven fabric layer, which is disposed between the reinforcing fiber layer and the film layer, is impregnated with an asphalt emulsion, and has a melting point of 50° C. to 130° C.

In order to address the sustainability and environmental issues associated with conventional HVAC filters, inventive HVAC filters have been developed that are completely biodegradable and compostable and exhibit Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value (MERV) ratings that are superior to conventional HVAC filters. More particularly, it has been discovered that biodegradable electrospun nanofibers can be used to produce biodegradable HVAC filters that exhibit superior filtration performance relative to conventional HVAC filters produced from polypropylene electrostatic media or triboelectric nonwoven media.

The product includes: a weather barrier membrane faces away from the building structure; a drainage structure affixed to and co-extensive with the weather barrier membrane; a moisture resistant layer affixed to and co-extensive with the drainage structure; an adhesive layer, the adhesive layer is a plurality of adhesive strips and/or scatter coated over and co-extensive with the moisture resistant layer, the adhesive is a pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) and has a pull adhesion in a range of about 10-21 psi, and covers about 40-95% of a surface of the moisture resistant layer; and a release layer releasably covers and is co-extensive with the adhesive layer. Whereby the moisture/ventilation product is placed on the building structure without mechanical fasteners. A method is also disclosed.
