LIQUID EJECTION APPARATUS AND LIQUID TANK
A liquid ejection apparatus includes a housing provided at least with an upper surface and side surfaces, and a liquid tank that is arranged in the housing and is refillable with a liquid from outside. A display unit that indicates a remaining liquid amount in the liquid tank is arranged at least at one of joining portions each joining the upper surface to one of the side surfaces.
MEMORY, CARTRIDGE, AND PRINTING SYSTEM
A memory stores manufacturing information including at least the number of refills, an electronic signature of the manufacturing information, and a first error-detecting code of the manufacturing information. The number of refills is the number of times that, after consumption of a liquid contained in the cartridge, the cartridge is refilled with the liquid.
LIQUID CONTAINER
The object is to provide a liquid container that can prevent foreign substances from flowing into a liquid ejection apparatus with a simple configuration. The liquid container for containing liquid to be ejected by a liquid ejection apparatus includes: a bag body configured to contain the liquid inside; and a flow path for supplying the liquid contained inside the bag body to the liquid ejection apparatus, wherein, inside a peripheral wall of the flow path, a first capturing unit extending in an anti-gravitational direction and a second capturing unit extending in a gravitational direction are arranged at different positions with respect to a direction in which the liquid flows.
Liquid supplying device having tank and cartridge attachable thereto
A liquid supplying device includes a tank a tank and a cartridge. The cartridge includes a first storage chamber. The cartridge is formed with a communicating opening in communication with the first storage chamber. The tank has a second storage chamber and a joint having a hollow cylindrical shape. In an attachment state where the communicating opening of the cartridge is connected to the joint, the first storage chamber has a portion positioned above the joint and the second storage chamber is positioned below the joint. At least in the first end portion, the liquid passage has a rectangular shape in a cross section taken along a plane perpendicular to an extending direction of the liquid passage.
Pipette-fillable cartridge
A pipette-fillable fluid reservoir body. The fluid reservoir body includes two or more discrete fluid chambers therein. At least one of the fluid chambers contains a pressure compensation device and at least another one of the fluid chambers is devoid of a pressure compensation device. Each of the fluid chambers is in fluid flow communication with a fluid supply via, and each of the fluid chambers have sidewalls and a bottom wall attached to the side walls, wherein the bottom wall slopes toward the fluid supply via. The fluid reservoir body also includes an ejection head support face in fluid flow communication with the fluid chambers for attachment of a fluid ejection device to the ejection head support face for ejecting fluid from the fluid chambers.
Liquid container and method of manufacturing the same
A liquid container to be mounted in a liquid ejection apparatus contains liquid to be ejected from the liquid ejection apparatus. The liquid container comprises a liquid container bag containing liquid, at least one tube arranged in the inner space of the liquid container bag and having the first end open to the inner space, a connection member fitted to the aperture of the liquid container bag and connected to the second end of the tube and a holding member supported by the connection member and arranged in the inner space to hold the tube, the holding member having at least a groove for receiving the tube to be fitted thereinto at a position thereof other than the second end thereof. The holding member can integrally be molded.
Liquid container and liquid ejection apparatus
A liquid container is removably mountable into the apparatus body of a liquid ejection apparatus. The liquid container comprises a liquid storage chamber equipped with an air intake hole and a liquid supply port, for storing liquid and a valve unit having a sealing member and an urging member. The urging member is arranged so as to be at least partly rotationally movable and the urging member has urging force for urging the sealing member in the direction of making the sealing member abut the air intake hole. The sealing member is rotationally movable between a position of abutting and closing the air intake hole and a position separated from the air intake hole so as to open the air intake hole in response to a rotary motion of the urging member.
Print liquid supply
In one embodiment a print liquid supply apparatus is provided to supply liquid to a liquid needle of a receiving station comprising a liquid container including an at least partially collapsible liquid reservoir an interface structure at a side of the container, including a liquid channel that includes a reservoir connecting portion that fluidically connects to the reservoir and a needle receiving portion to allow the liquid to flow from the reservoir to the needle; a liquid interface of the liquid channel adjacent the needle receiving portion and at a distance from the reservoir connecting portion, a front wall and/or edge adjacent the liquid interface including a push area which is disposed between the liquid interface and the container; and at least one key pen base and key pen protruding from the base in a direction parallel and opposite to the needle insertion direction; and a contact pad array next to the needle receiving liquid channel portion. In another example a sub-assembly of such apparatus is provided.
INKJET RECORDING APPARATUS AND METHOD THEREFOR INCLUDING INQUIRY AND NOTIFICATION FEATURES
An inkjet recording apparatus includes an ink tank, a recording head, a monitor, an operation panel, and a controller. The ink tank forms an ink chamber and including an injection inlet. The recording head ejects ink from the ink chamber to record an image on a sheet. The operation panel receives user input. The controller controls operation of the recording head, the monitor, and the operation panel. The controller performs receiving a completion signal indicating completion of ink injection, decision processing deciding whether an initial processing has been completed, and inquiry processing based on receipt of the completion signal.
LIQUID CARTRIDGE
A liquid cartridge is configured to be inserted into a liquid consuming apparatus in a first direction along a horizontal direction against an urging force directed in a second direction opposite the first direction, and thereby to be mounted to the liquid consuming apparatus. The liquid cartridge is configured to pivot about a pivot center in the liquid consuming apparatus. The liquid cartridge includes a rear face, and the rear face includes a first portion and a second portion positioned further in an upward direction than the first portion. The first portion includes a portion positioned further in a downward direction than the pivot center, and the first portion is positioned further in the first direction than the second portion.
