Liquid supplying device having tank and cartridge attachable thereto
A liquid supplying device includes a tank a tank and a cartridge. The cartridge includes a first storage chamber. The cartridge is formed with a communicating opening in communication with the first storage chamber. The tank has a second storage chamber and a joint having a hollow cylindrical shape. In an attachment state where the communicating opening of the cartridge is connected to the joint, the first storage chamber has a portion positioned above the joint and the second storage chamber is positioned below the joint. At least in the first end portion, the liquid passage has a rectangular shape in a cross section taken along a plane perpendicular to an extending direction of the liquid passage.
Apparatus and method for inspecting droplet
Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for quickly and accurately inspecting a droplet on a substrate. An apparatus for inspecting a droplet on a substrate according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure includes: an ultrasonic sensor configured to apply an ultrasonic wave to a droplet on the substrate and detect an ultrasonic wave reflected from the substrate; and a processor configured to acquire a height of the droplet at each position on the substrate on the basis of a signal of the ultrasonic wave reflected from the droplet on the substrate, calculate a volume of the droplet on the basis of the heights of the droplet at the positions, and store or output data in relation to the volume of the droplet. The embodiment of the present disclosure may calculate the volume of the droplet using the ultrasonic wave, thereby quickly and accurately inspecting the droplet on the substrate.
LIQUID SUPPLY SYSTEMS, SPOUT SUPPORT TOOLS, AND METHODS OF USING
Liquid supply system for an analyzer. Liquid supply system includes a liquid-containing container and a spout support tool. Liquid-containing container is made up of a rectangular parallelepiped box comprising a wall with an opening therein, and a collapsible insert including a liquid-containing portion received inside the rectangular parallelepiped box. The collapsible insert includes a spout with a flange wherein both are retractable through the opening. The support tool has a body having an engaging portion and a grasping portion, the engaging portion includes a first engagement surface engaged with a surface of the wall, a second engagement surface, and a spout receiver formed in the engaging portion that is configured to be received under the flange to support the spout. pout support tools and retaining methods of a liquid supply system are provided, as are other aspects.
Liquid container and liquid ejection apparatus
A liquid container is removably mountable into the apparatus body of a liquid ejection apparatus. The liquid container comprises a liquid storage chamber equipped with an air intake hole and a liquid supply port, for storing liquid and a valve unit having a sealing member and an urging member. The urging member is arranged so as to be at least partly rotationally movable and the urging member has urging force for urging the sealing member in the direction of making the sealing member abut the air intake hole. The sealing member is rotationally movable between a position of abutting and closing the air intake hole and a position separated from the air intake hole so as to open the air intake hole in response to a rotary motion of the urging member.
Print liquid supply
In one embodiment a print liquid supply apparatus is provided to supply liquid to a liquid needle of a receiving station comprising a liquid container including an at least partially collapsible liquid reservoir an interface structure at a side of the container, including a liquid channel that includes a reservoir connecting portion that fluidically connects to the reservoir and a needle receiving portion to allow the liquid to flow from the reservoir to the needle; a liquid interface of the liquid channel adjacent the needle receiving portion and at a distance from the reservoir connecting portion, a front wall and/or edge adjacent the liquid interface including a push area which is disposed between the liquid interface and the container; and at least one key pen base and key pen protruding from the base in a direction parallel and opposite to the needle insertion direction; and a contact pad array next to the needle receiving liquid channel portion. In another example a sub-assembly of such apparatus is provided.
LIQUID CARTRIDGE
