When the determination section determines that an elapsed time in which no board is convey exceeds an allowable time, the first printing control section causes the printer to execute the printing process for a first time on a first board which is conveyed in since the determination is made. The movement controller separates the mask and the board from each other after the first printing control section executes the printing process for the first time and brings the mask and the board into abutment with each other again after the separation. The second printing control section causes the printer to execute the printing process for a second time on the board after the movement controller brings the mask and the board into abutment with each other again.

A cleaning fabric wound on a roll (12) is use for cleaning printing cylinders (2, 3, 4) of a printing system (1). The cleaning fabric (13) includes a liquid absorbable material configured to be soaked with a cleaning liquid containing a polar additive configured to make the cleaning liquid polar. The roll (12) of cleaning fabric (13) is included in a cleaning cassette (10) which is movable between an idle position out of contact with the printing cylinders, and an active position in which the cleaning fabric (13) included in the cassette (10) is in contact with a printing cylinder to be cleaned.

A printing apparatus of the present disclosure is for performing printing of a viscous fluid onto a print target using a screen mask, the printing apparatus including: a moving section configured to perform at least one of moving an exchangeable member to an exchange position or loading and unloading of the exchangeable member, for at least two types of the exchangeable member that, out of a cartridge configured to house the viscous fluid, a squeegee, a screen mask, a cleaning member used to clean the screen mask, and a support member configured to fix the print target, include at least one out of the cartridge, the squeegee, and the cleaning member; and an exchange control section configured to control the moving section to perform exchange processing of exchanging the exchangeable member.

A service tracking system for a printing press (1), spray applicator (1′) or the like includes at least one replaceable component (10) having at least one memory unit (20). The service tracking system further includes a controller (30) which is connected to the memory unit (20). The controller (30) is configured to control the operation of the replaceable component (10) and to periodically update data stored on the memory unit (20) related to run-time data regarding the operation of the specific replaceable component (10).

In an example of the disclosure, a print apparatus component to be cleaned is rotated about a rotational axis. A cleaning element having a cleaning surface in contact with the print apparatus component is rotated. The cleaning element is oscillated in a direction parallel to the rotational axis. Rotation and oscillation of the cleaning element are varied according to a predetermined function to remove a residue from the print apparatus component.

A print apparatus component to be cleaned is rotated about a rotational axis. A cleaning element having a cleaning surface in contact with the print apparatus component is rotated. The cleaning element is oscillated in a direction parallel to the rotational axis. Rotation and oscillation of the cleaning element are varied according to a predetermined function to remove a residue from the print apparatus component.

A service tracking system for a printing press (1), spray applicator (1′) or the like includes at least one replaceable component (10) having at least one memory unit (20). A printing apparatus including: a cleaning section including a cleaning member and configured to perform cleaning processing of a screen mask used in printing of a viscous fluid onto a print target; a cleaning member moving section configured to perform at least one of moving the cleaning member to and from a cleaning position and an exchange position, and unloading and loading of the cleaning member; and an exchange control section configured to control the cleaning member moving section to perform cleaning member exchange processing of exchanging the cleaning member.
