Book and toy combination
The present invention relates to a book comprising a first outer cover having a substantially planar body defining a first aperture extending therethrough; a second outer cover having a substantially planar body defining a second aperture extending therethrough; and at least one inner element located between the first and second outer covers, the or each inner element having a substantially planar body defining an inner element aperture extending therethrough; wherein at least a portion of the first and second apertures and the or each inner element aperture are aligned with one another to define a receiving aperture extending through the book.
Self-supporting book
A book has a front cover having a first edge which is unconnected, and an opposing second edge which is connected to a spine. A back cover has a first edge which is connected to the spine and an opposing second edge which is connected to flexible joint or fold-line. The book has a third cover having a first edge which is connected to the flexible joint, that couples the third cover to the back cover, and an opposing second edge which is connected to binding. The front cover is configured to fold back about the spine to retain the third cover proximal the outer edge of the third cover to retain the book in a propped-up position for reading. A page holder slides along the left and right sides of the third cover and has an opening that allows a page to be pushed therethrough.
PRINTING BOOK INCLUDING A FIRST ATTACHMENT DEVICE
A printed book has at least a first page and a second page, wherein the first page including a first attachment device for attaching a sheet onto the first page within a first attachment area and the first page including a first detachment device for separating a first detachment area from the first page, the second page including a second attachment device for attaching a sheet onto the second page within a second attachment area and the second page including a second detachment device for separating a second detachment area from the second page, and, when the printed book is in a closed condition, the first attachment area being congruent with the second detachment area and the first detachment area being congruent with the second attachment area.
Notebook with configurable note-taking guides and organizational features
A notebook is provided comprising a number of expert guidance pages and instructional figures. The notebook includes integrated guidance and information sheets that describe using different note-taking methods. The notebook may include supplemental pages that teach and reinforce note-taking methods and approaches, as well as a variety of other pages designed to provide a functional notebook. One or more of the pages, including the supplemental pages, can be removed by tearing along a perforated edge.
Sheet
A sheet includes a folding line along which the sheet is to be folded, and a mark with reference to which the sheet is placed on an image forming apparatus in a specific manner. The mark is provided in a portion that is positioned on an inner side when the sheet is folded along the folding line.
Book page with moving structure
A book having a plurality of pages bound together to form the book. At least one page of a spread of the book has a flap movable with respect to the page. The flap has a flap recess. The page has a page recess. In a closed position, the flap is positioned within the page recess. A structural element, such as a pop-up element, is housed within the flap recess and/or the page recess. As the flap moves from the closed position to an open position, the structural element moves or raises above the page surface to move the structural element into an activated position. In the closed position, the structural element is hidden from view when looking at the page.
Combination Journal
A system and method for a journal. The system includes a journal which has a cover coupled to a binder. The binder is coupled to a plurality of journal pages, and at least one of the journal pages has at least one entry. The system further includes a printer for printing a photograph and a printer page for loading into the printer. A photograph can be taken with a device such as a camera or smart phone. Thereafter, the photograph is sent to the printer. The photograph can be detached from the printer page and adhered to one of the entries on the journal pages.
Label book containing printed store labels for use along a retail shelf edge
Embodiments of a store label booklet include a plurality of sheets stacked one on top of the other and connected to a binding that spans an entire thickness of the booklet, each sheet including a planar array of store labels. No release coating is used. When each store label or row is removed from the book, a liner strip remains connected to the binder and a portion of the adhesive lying opposite the liner strip is exposed for application of the label to a retail shelf edge. Each store label may differ in orientation, size, or style and may contain different product information. Location information may be located on a binding of the booklet, on the label, or on both the binding and the label. The store labels may be printed in a predetermined order.
Edge tabs for notebook
A tab is provided for notebooks and binders. The tab is placed within the space otherwise occupied by a binding, and thus is protected from wear and does not appreciably increase the overall size of the notebook or binder. The tab may be located at a corner of the binding or at an intermediate point along the binding.
