Bookmark Card and Display
The invention set forth herein is a bookmark card configured into several sections by creases and two openings. Once the lower sections are folded and the openings are aligned, the latter are connected by inserting the article to be presented, thus forming its dual-use upright configuration for display of small gifts and/or promotional items and its collapsed or unfolded configuration as a bookmark. The end consumer obtains two articles in one: a presentation support and a bookmark card, without having to use glue to assemble it in the upright configuration and avoiding the production of unnecessary waste after presentation of small articles.
Book Page Holder Device
A device for securing pages of a book in an open position. The device operates as a unitary Improved Book Page Holder in a secure manner that is effective without presenting intricate, moving or visibly obstructive parts. In particular, the device includes discretely separate flanges that interface open pages at apex locations thereof. Simultaneously, a central wedge component is provided is inserted into a crevice between the open pages. Thus, discrete wedge points of tension-pressure are introduced by way of the wedge component which occurs in unison with tension-pressure from the flanges at the apex locations. Therefore, as a practical matter, a unique form of securing and holding is provided that maintains the pages of a book in an open position until a user intends to advance device to the next pair of adjacent book pages or until removal of the device takes place.
Bookmark assembly
Embodiments of the present invention disclose a bookmark assembly that indicates relative page direction and a line left off for a reader. The assembly includes a hollow sleeve member having a window and a slot, a marker configured to translate through the hollow sleeve member, and a line indicator configured to translate along the slot.
Flexible markers
A flexible marker includes a flexible body for gripping, and a marking implement carried at least partially within the body. The body is flexible to conform to the grip preferences of a user. The body has two parallel lateral sides and a first longitudinal end defining a central apex from which the marking implement can be extended. The body can be folded along or near a central longitudinal axis to bring together two lateral sides. The body can be folded along a first laterally extending axis in a first configuration in which the marking implement extends longitudinally beyond a second longitudinal end for use of the marking implement. The body can be folded along a second laterally extending axis in a second configuration in which the second longitudinal end extends longitudinally beyond the marking implement.
RESOURCES AND METHODS FOR TRACKING PROGRESSION IN A LITERARY WORK
The present techniques generally relate to an apparatus for determining user progression data in a literary work, the apparatus comprising: a database comprising formatted literary data for two or more versions of a literary work; and circuitry to: process tracker position data for a first version of the one or more versions; and determine, from formatted literary data for the two or more versions, progression data for a second version of the literary work based on or in response to the tracker position data for the first version.
Systems and methods of demarking a last-read page and line of a bound publication
A demarker that in one form is substantially square. On one side of the demarker, a first indicia, such as a numeral “1” is placed in one corner. A second indicia, such as a numeral “2”, is placed in a diagonally opposite corner of the same side. The opposite side of the demarker does not include the first or second indicia in the corners. The demarker is then used to mark the last-read line on the last read page of a book by placing the demarker with the first and second indicia face-up on the opposite page of the last-read page. Further, for a single column books, the first indicia is aligned with the last-read line. For two-column books, the first indicia is aligned with the last-read line if the last-read line is in the first column. However, the second indicia is aligned with the last-read line if the last-read line is in the second column.

The assembly includes a hollow sleeve member having a window and a slot, a marker configured to translate through the hollow sleeve member, and a line indicator configured to translate along the slot.
Physical bookmark
A physical bookmark device is provided. The device includes an elongated strap having a locking mechanism at its end. a plurality of indicators are disposed on the elongated strap. The indicators are removably or movably disposed on the elongated strap. The elongated strap enables a user to adjust the strap securely in a book to bookmark at least two desired pages; wherein the elongated strap indicates a desired page, the removably disposed indicator indicates a first desired word or line on the desired page; and the window indicates a second desired word or line on the desired page; and wherein the device is a physical bookmark device.

Stationery securing apparatus and instrument holder
A stationery securing apparatus and writing instrument holder is provided with a band, at least a portion of which is elastic. At least two writing instrument loops are attached to the elastic band, and a male snap portion and a female snap portion attached to the band, configured and arranged so that when the band is not in use securing stationery, it can be folded or rolled up and the male snap portion and the female snap portion can be snapped together to form a compact writing instrument holder.
