Adaptive writing utensil
A writing utensil adapted for promoting the development of a tripod writing grip includes an elongate body having a substantially polygonal cross section, and having three faces extending between a proximal end and a distal end thereof, and a boss member extending from an intermediate portion of the elongate body, the boss member being adapted for impeding a user's fingers from sliding along a longitudinal axis of the elongate body.

PALM PEN
Disclosed is a pen for writing, referred to as a palm pen herein because the body of the pen fits into the palm of a human hand. The palm pen can include a spherically shaped body, and an ink delivery system. The ink delivery system can include a tip having an end connected to the body and an opposite end comprising a nib, an ink conduit having an end coupled to the nib within the tip and an opposite end extending inside the body, and a first ink cartridge fluidly coupled with the opposite end of the ink conduit and contained within the body. The ink delivery system can additionally include a cartridge holder having an active cartridge slot for the first ink cartridge and cartridge storage slots for storage of additional ink cartridges.
ANGLED PEN
Angled pens are provided. A pen includes: a shank; an ink tube inside the shank; a first tip member connected to a distal end of the shank; a second tip member connected to a distal end of the first tip member; and a bent tubular member including a proximal end section, a middle section, and a distal end section. An axis of the middle section is arranged at a first angle relative to a central axis of the shank. The axis of the middle section is arranged at a second angle relative to an axis of the distal end section, the second angle being in a range of 45° to 90°. The axis of the distal end section is arranged at a third angle relative to the central axis of the shank.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR A HANDS-FREE TOOL HOLDER
An apparatus and method to hold a tool is disclosed. In one embodiment, the tool holder comprises two elastic components. One elastic component fits around a finger and the second elastic component fits around the tool. In a more specific embodiment, the tool is a pen or pencil. A method is disclosed of attaching the device to a finger and a tool and using the device by moving the tool with one or more fingers that are adjacent to the finger with the attached tool.

ARTICULATED PEN
Articulated pens are provided. A pen includes: a shank; an ink tube comprising a first section, a second section, a third section, and a fourth section; a writing tip connected to the fourth section; a first guide rail connected to the shank and that bends the ink tube at a first angle between the first section and the second section; and a second guide rail pivotally connected to the first guide rail and that bends the ink tube at a second angle between the third section and the fourth section. Pivoting the second guide rail relative to the first guide rail adjusts a third angle between the second section and the third section.
Tactile stimulation system
A tactile stimulation system includes a writing utensil that may be manipulated thereby facilitating the writing utensil to write. A plurality of blocks is provided. The blocks are movably coupled together and the plurality of blocks may be manipulated. The writing utensil is coupled to the plurality of blocks. Thus, the plurality of blocks facilitates tactile stimulation when the writing utensil is manipulated.
Flexible markers
A flexible marker includes a flexible body for gripping, and a marking implement carried at least partially within the body. The body is flexible to conform to the grip preferences of a user. The body has two parallel lateral sides and a first longitudinal end defining a central apex from which the marking implement can be extended. The body can be folded along or near a central longitudinal axis to bring together two lateral sides. The body can be folded along a first laterally extending axis in a first configuration in which the marking implement extends longitudinally beyond a second longitudinal end for use of the marking implement. The body can be folded along a second laterally extending axis in a second configuration in which the second longitudinal end extends longitudinally beyond the marking implement.
