A first platform and a second platform are each hingedly coupled to the collapsible frame, and a detachable paint container has an open top. An upper surface of the first platform includes a first recessed portion that substantially conforms to an outer shape of the detachable paint container and a second recessed portion including substantially concentric circular recesses adapted to conform to an outer shape of at least two different sized paint cans.
Paint tray and paint tray liner
A paint tray includes a paint tray having a paint receptacle and a roller area, with two paint troughs positioned adjacent the sides of the roller area. The troughs are slanted such that the troughs are in fluid communication with the paint receptacle. A tool receptacle is positioned in the at least one of the troughs for holding a paint tool away from, but adjacent to, the paint receptacle and the roller area.
Paintbrush holder
The invention relates to a paintbrush holder (1), comprising a brush-receiving part (2) that is open at the top for receiving a brush, with a volume, a spout-shaped part (3) provided on an upper side of the brush-receiving part, wherein a largest diameter of the spout-shaped part is larger than a largest diameter of a paintbrush to be received in the brush holder, wherein a lower and smallest diameter of the spout-shaped part fits the diameter of the head of the paintbrush, the volume of the brush-receiving part below the smallest diameter is larger than the volume of the brush hairs, in which at least a part of the paintbrush holder comprises an elastomer (4), which elastomer is provided at the smallest diameter of the spout-shaped part, which elastomer is adapted for sealing the volume in a fluid-tight manner, and in which the spout-shaped part has a height such that a mass center of gravity (5) of a paintbrush to be received, falls into the paintbrush holder. In another embodiment of the invention, the holder consists of more rigid material like plastic, glass or metal like aluminum and the brush head consists fully or partly of an elastomer.
SUPPORT CLIP-BRUSH HOLDER AND BRUSH KEEPER ASSEMBLY FOR STORING PAINT BRUSHES
A support clip includes a container engagement section for mounting the support clip to an upper interior portion of a paint container, and a brush holder support section. A brush holder carries a vertically suspended paint brush. Edge surfaces of the container engagement section include a first segment, a second segment, and an intermediate segment, which engage inner and lower surfaces of the container rim and an inner sidewall surface. A brush keeper kit for a paint brush employs used paint containers as brush keeper parts. The brush keeper kit includes a paint container adapter and a brush holder. The paint container adapter has an outer rim and an inner ledge, which define upper and lower sections for coupling upper and lower paint containers. The brush holder is mounted to an upper interior portion of the lower paint container and supports the paint brush within an interior space.
DISPOSABLE CONTAINER FOR COATING APPLICATORS
A container for a paint applicator and a method for using same is disclosed herein. The container comprises: a first layer having a top edge, opposing sidewalls, and a bottom edge; and a second layer having a top edge, opposing sidewalls, and a bottom edge. The sidewalls of the first and second layers being sealed together and the bottom edges being partially sealed to form a rupturable seam having an aperture formed therein. The sidewalls, bottom edge, and top edge defining an enclosed interior for stowing a paint applicator. The applicator is stowable within the container by inserting the applicator through the top end and projecting a handle thereof through the aperture. Upon pulling the handle through the aperture, the seam ruptures, thereby allowing the applicator to be removed from the container.
Multi function painter's tool box
A multi function painter's tool box apparatus enabling a user to protect, store and transport various painting tools; clean and spin dry various paint roller covers from water soluble paints and/or stains by using free a hand method with a garden hose or other flexible hose and household water pressure, by generating a jet spray with a nozzle or restricting the flow otherwise, through the rectangular washing slot and generating a high speed whirling motion to the roller; clean paintbrushes from water soluble paints and/or stains, using this single apparatus. The apparatus includes a vertically oriented box with door, a universal paint roller holder assembly, a paintbrush cleaning surface and various holders for the painting tools. It also has a rectangular washing slot on top with a splashguard and drain holes on the bottom. It has a carrying handle on the top and legs on the bottom.
Ladder tray assembly
A ladder tray assembly includes a case that has a recess integrated therein. A lid is hingedly coupled to the case for opening and closing the case. A pole is extendable through the case and the pole is inserted into a rung of a ladder thereby mounting the case to the ladder. A case member is coupled to and extends away from the case and a grip is coupled to the case member. The grip extends around the pole when the pole is extended through the case and the grip extends around the rung through which the pole is extended. A pair of storage units is each attachable to the lid when the lid is in an open position to facilitate tools stored in the storage units to be accessible to a user.
Paint Brush Packaging with Edging Configuration and Methods of Use
Reconfigurable paint brush containers provide both display packaging and an edging tool. The container has a painting edge aligned with bristles of the paint brush and a fulcrum on which the paint brush rests. The fulcrum initially spaces the bristles of the paint brush away from the painting edge in a resting state. The painting edge is aligned with a wall corner, where paint is to be applied and a force is applied to the paint brush in the direction of the fulcrum. The force overcomes the spacing effect and brings the bristles into contact with the painting edge such that paint on the bristles is applied in a straight line to a portion of the wall exposed to the bristles at the painting edge.
Disposable or reusable paint applicator protector
An improved protective covering for paint brushes, paint rollers, and other paint applicators, consisting of a sheath of flexible, impermeable material. In one embodiment, a protector for a paint brush, roller or other paint applicator comprising a sheath of impermeable flexible material. Said sheath is comprised of two membranes. The inner membrane is polyethylene vinyl acetate, or ethylene vinyl acetate. This provides intrinsic adhesiveness thereby improving performance. The surface of said membrane has a frosted or translucent appearance. This membrane adheres to the paint on the tools for an improved barrier between the paint and oxygen. When the wet surface of the tool makes contact with the frosted membrane, the wet or paint shows through more clearly, while the dry areas maintain a frosted appearance, thereby indicating the product is working. The outer membrane is polyethylene plastic. The outer layer provides an extra barrier against moisture and air and, due to its ductility and impact strength, will act as an extra layer of protection against any punctures. All sides of the covering are sealed except one. The width of the protector may narrow from the open end to the closed end. A casing is at the open end. An elastic cord is threaded through a small hole in the outer side of the casing, through the casing, and out of the hole. A lock is attached to the exposed portion of the elastic cord. The elastic cord and lock allow the user to adjust the seal that fits, or works, best for each painting tool. The improved protector is convenient to use, secure, and inexpensive. The cover is reusable or disposable, at the option of the user. Other embodiments are described and shown.
Brush Cap
In a brush cap for protecting a hair bundle of a cosmetic and/or paint or artist's brush, in order to obtain a more flexible application also for a plurality of brushes or for different brush shapes, and for the purpose of broadening the range of application of the brush cap, it is provided that a second end of the brush cap, through which a brush shaft, given proper use of the brush cap, projects, is configured such that it is radially expandable.
