Paint can accessory
Apparatus is provided for an accessory for a paint can. The apparatus comprises a roughly cylindrical frame disposed for being securely seated on a paint can, which may securely receive the original paint can lid or a replacement lid. The apparatus may further comprise a sealable spout; an air vent; a rod for wiping paint from a brush; concavities to allow the handle to be used; a splash guard; a collar for securing the apparatus to a paint can; and/or a lid. A user may use the apparatus to store paint, and paint using the paint in the can, or poured from the can, without paint being wasted and covering the can. Paint on the can, or air leaks, creates problems: the paint in the can dries, or the information on the outside of the can and/or can lid is obscured, which the present invention solves.
PAINT BUCKET DISPENSING AND DRIPLESS STORAGE SYSTEM
A paint bucket dispensing and dripless storage system includes a lid detachably connected to a paint bucket having a port formed therethrough. A paint dispenser extends through the lid port in sealed relation and defines a paint fluid pathway between an intake end within the bucket and an outlet end extending above the lid. The paint outlet is configured to be detachably connected to a hose of an airless paint sprayer. An upper assembly of the paint dispenser is detachably coupled to a lower assembly of the paint dispenser, such as by a manually actuated quick connect/disconnect mechanism.
Paint package and paint package lid
A paint package lid (14, 114) includes a base wall (54) having a lid base wall upper surface (56) and a lid base wall lower surface (58), a container coupling rim (60) disposed radially outwardly with respect to the base wall and having a rim upper surface (62), and a closure well (64, 164) disposed radially inwardly with respect to the base wall. The closure well includes a radially outer wall (82) extending downwardly with respect to the base wall, a lower wall (84) extending radially inwardly with respect to the radially outer wall and establishing a lowermost surface (85) of the lid, and a neck (86, 186) disposed radially inwardly with respect to the radially outer wall and extending upwardly from the lower wall and having a closure coupling (95). Also disclosed is lid and closure assembly and a paint package (10, 110, 210) including the lid.
Storage container with spout
A storage container with a spout is provided that can store a coating material. The storage container can include a container body having a shape, which may be a circular shape, polygonal shape, or a rounded-polygonal shape. The container body includes a side wall having first and second ends. The storage container with a spout can include a first opening with a corresponding lid and the spout providing a second opening with a corresponding cap. The storage container can further include a handle formed with an aperture through a side of the container body.
PAINT CONTAINER LID
A paint container lid has a planar surface and a perforated section embedded in the planar surface. The perforated section can be removed, and a tube or other device or implement can be inserted into a hole created by the removal of the perforated section. The paint container lid further includes a flap positioned on an exterior edge of the planar surface. The flap is used for coupling to a rim of a paint container.
PAINT PAN COVER
The present invention is directed to a cover or lid which fastens about the lip of standard-sized paint trays. The lid substantially seals paint and a roller assembly in the tray from ambient air. The lid also holds the roller assembly in place to prevent undesired movement of the rollers assembly in the tray.
CONTAINER LID AND BRUSH ASSEMBLY
A container lid and brush assembly includes a lid having a body portion including an aperture passing from a topside of the body portion to an underneath side of the body portion. The lid is configured to seal an open top of a paint can and the aperture is configured to receive and secure a handle of a paint brush. The container lid assembly keeps the bristles of the paint brushed wetted during storage.
Combined Lid and Strainer Device for a Paint Container
A combined lid and strainer device for a paint container features an outer mounting rim configured for mated fitting onto a rim of the paint container. Within a central circular area surrounded by the rim, there is a perforated a straining area through which paint is pourable. A movable cover is selectively movable between a closed position overlying the perforated straining area, and open positions withdrawn therefrom to allow strained pouring of the paint therethrough. Raised features on the cover are used to secure the cover closed when the lidded container is placed in a paint shaker. A sealing membrane is used, at least initially, seal the perforated area in airtight fashion to maintain paint freshness. Securement features are usable to secure the flap in both closed and open positions.
Also disclosed is a lid and closure assembly and a paint package (10, 110, 210) including the lid.
SUPPORT CLIP-BRUSH HOLDER AND BRUSH KEEPER ASSEMBLY FOR STORING PAINT BRUSHES
A support clip includes a container engagement section for mounting the support clip to an upper interior portion of a paint container, and a brush holder support section. A brush holder carries a vertically suspended paint brush. Edge surfaces of the container engagement section include a first segment, a second segment, and an intermediate segment, which engage inner and lower surfaces of the container rim and an inner sidewall surface. A brush keeper kit for a paint brush employs used paint containers as brush keeper parts. The brush keeper kit includes a paint container adapter and a brush holder. The paint container adapter has an outer rim and an inner ledge, which define upper and lower sections for coupling upper and lower paint containers. The brush holder is mounted to an upper interior portion of the lower paint container and supports the paint brush within an interior space.
