Smart luggage systems are disclosed. A smart luggage system includes a luggage bag including one or more wheels, one or more processors, one or more memory modules, one or more wheel actuators, one or more GPS units, and machine readable instructions stored in the one or more memory modules. When executed by the one or more processors, the machine readable instructions cause the smart luggage system to determine a location of a user, determine a location of the luggage bag based on an output signal from the one or more GPS units, and actuate the one or more wheel actuators to move the luggage bag based on the location of the user and the location of the luggage bag.

Provided is a trolley bag with separated middle frame structure and hinge and having shock-absorbing structure, which includes a trolley handle, a rear case, a middle frame, and a front case. The middle frame structure includes a hinge structure and a pair of middle frames. One of the pair of middle frames is connected to the rear case, and the other one is connected to the front case. The hinge structure includes a pair of hinges and a core pin, one of the pair of hinges is connected to one of the middle frames, the other is connected to the other one of the middle frames. The pair of hinges are movably connected through the core pin. The pair of middle frames is locked together by an interlocking assembly. Shock-absorbing wheels are arranged at four corners of a bottom of the trolley bag.

A stabilized luggage article is disclosed. In one practice, the luggage article comprises a plurality of swiveling wheel assemblies, each assembly comprising one or more wheels having a horizontal axis of rotation and mounted to a pivot member, such as a pivot post that has a vertical axis of wheel rotation; the vertical axis of rotation is laterally spaced from the horizontal axis of rotation and is projected outwardly toward the front wall of the luggage but not beyond it, the pivot post extending downwardly at least to the level of the horizontal axis of wheel rotation, preferably beyond it for further increased stability.

A wheeled luggage case comprises (a) a storage chamber, (b) a cover defining an opening on at least one side of the storage chamber for providing ready access therein and at least two labyrinth axle-free wheels operatively connected to the chamber for towing the case along a ground surface. The labyrinth axle-free wheel comprises an internal rim, an external rim provided with a ground interface, rollers being rotatably disposed within a roller spacer between the internal and external rims in a uniform circumferential manner by means of a spacer and external covers. A spinner wheel assembly for a luggage case is provided. The wheel assembly may include a housing, a support strut rotatably coupled to the housing about a spinner axis, and a plurality of wheels each rotatably coupled to the support strut about a wheel axis. Each wheel may rotate in a plane positioned at an angle to at least one other wheel. Each wheel may be coupled to the support strut in a spaced relationship thereto.

The wheel assembly (104) comprises: a central support element (200); a first wheel (132) rotatably attached to the central support element (200); a second wheel (134) rotatably attached to the central support element (200) on an opposing side to the first wheel (132), wherein the first wheel (132) and the second wheel (134) share a common axis of rotation X; and wherein each of the first wheel (132) and the second wheel (134) are substantially hemispherical in shape.

A telescoping wheel assembly includes a base body, a wheel set and an elastic member. The base body includes a receiving groove. The wheel set is connected to the receiving groove and selectively positioned at an outward position or an inward position relative to the receiving groove. The wheel set includes a wheel axle and a wheel body. The wheel body is connected to an outside of the wheel axle. The elastic member is disposed in the receiving groove and abutted against the base body and the wheel set. When the wheel set is positioned at the outward position, the elastic member provides a buffering elastic force to the wheel set. When the wheel set is positioned at the inward position, the elastic member provides a pushing elastic force to the wheel set.

A wheel adapter to convert a storage container to a wheeled storage container is provided. The wheel adapter comprises a mounting bracket attachable to the storage container. The mounting bracket comprises a first leg configured to engage a bottom surface of the storage container, and a second leg configured to engage a side surface of the storage container. The second leg comprises a wheel coupling. The wheel adapter also includes a wheel rotatably connected to the wheel coupling. The wheel is constructed and arranged for rotation about an axis to provide rolling support of the storage container on the ground.
