Vehicle recovery device
A vehicle recovery device (10) comprising a first track (12) formed from a plurality of pivotally connected panels (14) and a second track (13) formed from a plurality of pivotally connected panels (14). The first and second tracks (12, 13) are moveable from a planar configuration, in which the first and second tracks (12, 13) are usable for vehicle recovery, to a folded configuration, in which the first and second tracks (12, 13) are connectable by connectors (22) to form side walls of a receptacle (11) in the shape of a polyhedron.
VEHICLE RESCUE DEVICE, RESCUE PLATE AND SUPPORT PLATE
The present application discloses a vehicle rescue device, a rescue plate and a support plate, and relates to the field of cross-country equipment. The vehicle rescue device includes a first rescue plate and a second rescue plate, at least one end of the first rescue plate is provided with a first connecting portion, at least one end of the second rescue plate is provided with a second connecting portion, and the first connecting portion is detachably connected with the second connecting portion.
Axle assembly with internal lubrication system
An axle assembly includes a spindle to receive a drive shaft having a rotational input about an axis and a wheel hub rotatably supported by at least one roller bearing disposed on the spindle. A tire inflation system defines a spindle gas passage to route pressurized gas from an onboard source through the spindle. The tire inflation system includes a seal chamber between the spindle and wheel hub to transfer gas from the spindle to the wheel hub, and a hub gas passage in fluid communication with the seal chamber is arranged to route the pressurized gas to a tire. A lubrication system having a reservoir is located axially outboard of the seal chamber and at least one hub lubricant passage routes lubricant between the reservoir to a roller bearing located axially inboard of the seal chamber. The hub lubricant passage routes lubricant radially outward of the seal chamber.
Self-bracing emergency wheel
An attachment for a vehicle wheel enables driving operation with limited tire function. The attachment may include a base body, a tread surface for contacting a road surface, at least one bracing apparatus configured to engage with a hook portion behind a portion of a rim of the vehicle wheel and a bracing mechanism having a contact portion configured to actuate the bracing apparatus and to bring the hook portion into engagement behind the portion of the upon actuation of the contact portion.
WHEEL TRACTION DEVICE
A wheel traction device is adapted for providing traction for a wheel of a vehicle to escape from a mud ground during rotation of the wheel, and includes: a guiding unit having a guiding portion adapted to abut against the wheel; a bearing unit that is detachably connected to the guiding unit, and that has a bearing portion adapted to be positioned on the mud ground such that, during rotation of the wheel, the bearing unit and the guiding unit are prevented from being driven by the rotation of the wheel to move relative to the mud ground, thereby allowing the wheel to roll over the bearing portion under guidance of the guiding portion; and a fastening unit that detachably fastens the bearing and guiding units together.
Wheel support apparatus
A wheel knuckle for supporting a wheel of a vehicle includes an upper member for connection to a vehicle suspension system, and a hub for supporting a bearing assembly. A displacement control member is provided for promoting displacement of the upper member towards a front of the vehicle in the event of a frontal collision. The displacement control member comprises a distal end for positioning proximal to a rim of the wheel. The distal end of the control member is disposed at a vertical height which is lower than a rotational axis of the wheel.
Bell Lock Safety Restraint for Wheel Assemblies
A bell lock wheel restraint system having an axle adapter to attach a bell to an axle, wherein the bell engages an outside face of a wheel away from a vehicle on which the wheel is mounted, and a bell retainer that secures the bell onto the axle adapter, thereby securing the wheel onto the vehicle in lieu of one or more failed lug bolts or lug nuts.
VEHICLE RECOVERY BOARD
A vehicle recovery board including an inner layer fabricated from a first material, the inner layer including a first face and an opposed second face, in which the first face and the second face each include a plurality of inner layer projections extending outwardly therefrom; and an outer layer fabricated from a second material, the outer layer is configured to substantially overlie the first face and the second face of the inner layer, in which the outer layer includes a plurality of outer layer projections extending outwardly therefrom, in which at least a portion of the plurality of outer layer projections are formed over at least a portion of the inner layer projections.
UNIVERSAL ROTATING HUB
Disclosed herein is a universal rotating hub that can facilitate movement of an automobile or other vehicle that has been rendered immobile by a condition that prevents rotation of one or more of the vehicle's wheels. The universal rotating hub can comprise a wheel flange comprising an axle bore adapted to receive an axle and a plurality of apertures adapted to receive a plurality of different lug bolt patterns of a plurality of respective wheel hubs. The universal rotating hub can further comprise a rotating flange adapted to be coupled to a wheel. The rotating flange can comprise a plurality of lug holes adapted to receive a plurality of lug bolts of the wheel. The universal rotating hub can further comprise a bearing coupled at a first end to the wheel flange and at a second end to the rotating flange. The bearing can be adapted to enable a rotation of the rotating flange.
