A disconnector assembly for a wheel hub transmission where the wheel hub transmission may have an input shaft that receives an input torque from a drive unit. The disconnector assembly may have a first coupling portion driven by the input shaft, and a connector having a second coupling portion and being axially displaceable between a first axial position and a second axial position. Each of the first and second coupling portions may have at least two engagement sections and at least one disengagement section positioned between the engagement sections. The engagement sections of the first and second coupling portions may engage each other when the connector assumes the first axial position. When the connector assumes the second axial position, at least one engagement section of the first and second coupling portion may be received in the disengagement section of the respective other of the first and second coupling portion.

Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to multiplex vehicle wheel assemblies which can be used to improve various aspects of transportation using vehicles, namely, using wheeled vehicles.

An attachment for a vehicle wheel allows operation when the tire is flat. An attachment for a vehicle wheel allows the vehicle to be driven when the tire is flat. The attachment includes a main body having a mounting portion and a running surface portion. When ready to be mounted, the mounting portion has a closed circumference.

A broken axle recovery apparatus that provides a temporary solution for a broken semi floating rear axle shaft has a wheel hub, a backing plate and a bearing. The wheel hub is rotatably engaged with the backing plate via the bearing in such a way that the broken axle recovery apparatus enables a rear wheel to be functionally mounted onto a vehicle. The backing plate is mounted to an axle housing of the vehicle, and the rear wheel is rotatably mounted to the wheel hub. The bearing enables the wheel hub and the rear wheel to freely rotate about the axle housing so that the vehicle can be safely driven into a safe location or a mechanic shop.
