DIRECT BOLT SIMULATED CAP
A cap configured to be connected to a wheel having a hub and a series of openings configured to receive fasteners attaching the wheel to a vehicle. The cap includes a disc defining a series of openings. The number of openings in the cap is less than the number of openings in the wheel. Each opening in the cap is configured to align with a corresponding opening in the wheel. Additionally, the cap is configured to conceal a remainder of the openings in the wheel that are not aligned with the openings in the cap.

Second and third portions of the rim junction extend in a circumferential direction. A mounting portion of a disc includes a flat plate portion having a pressing surface to be pressed against a hub of an axle, and a plurality of nut support portions protruding from the flat plate portion to a side opposite to the pressing surface in an axial direction of the disc, and having an annular shape as viewed from the axial direction. A bolt hole is provided to penetrate the nut support portion in the axial direction. The nut support portion includes a bulging portion curving to bulge outward in a radial direction of the nut support portion, and a protruding portion disposed adjacent to the bulging portion in a circumferential direction of the nut support portion, and protruding inward in the radial direction of the nut support portion with respect to the bulging portion.

A mounting wheel (3) for a motor vehicle comprising an internal surface (2) and an external surface (4), the internal surface (2) not being visible when the mounting wheel (3) is mounted on the motor vehicle, and at least one fixing element (7) configured to attach the mounting wheel (3) to the motor vehicle. The fixing element (7) is arranged on the internal surface (2) of the mounting wheel (3) so that the fixing element (7) is not visible when the mounting wheel (3) is mounted on the motor vehicle.
VEHICLE WHEEL ELEMENT STRUCTURE
A vehicle wheel element structure includes a center disc member, abutment members, and wheel-element-side fastening surfaces. Disc members extend radially in an outer diameter direction from the center disc member. The center disc member includes a center bore and fastening holes. The abutment members are provided on an inner side of the center disc member. Each abutment member protrudes from a position that is away from an opening of a corresponding one of the fastening holes by a predetermined distance. Each abutment member protrudes by a predetermined amount with respect to a reference plane when the abutment member is fastened to a hub unit. The abutment members abut first on a hub-side fastening surface. The wheel-element-side fastening surfaces are provided on the inner side of the center disc member. Each wheel-element-side fastening surface includes the corresponding one of the openings.

An insert (2) is embedded in the fiber reinforced material at the center of the spoke structure (3). A wheel disc comprises a wheel mounting portion defining a wheel axis, a plurality of spokes radially extending from the wheel mounting portion, and a rim junction on at least one spoke of the plurality of spokes. The rim junction is at an end of the at least one spoke opposite the wheel mounting portion. A first portion of the rim junction extends in an axial direction. Second and third portions of the rim junction extend in a circumferential direction. The axial direction is parallel to the wheel axis and the circumferential direction is in a plane perpendicular to the wheel axis.

An adaptive rim has a disk wheel center and a central wheel flange, which are arranged concentrically to one another and are connected to one another. Between the disk wheel center and the wheel flange a detachable connection is formed, wherein the disk wheel center and the wheel flange can be separated from one another after the connection is released. Thus, the wheel flange in the case that it is incompatible with a wheel suspension, can easily be exchanged for another compatible wheel flange. Accordingly, a rim system has at least one rim and a first wheel flange detachably connected to said disk wheel center, and at least one second wheel flange, in which, after the disk wheel center and the first wheel flange have been separated from one another, the second wheel flange instead of the first wheel flange can be detachably connected to the disk wheel center.
