Surface feature transfer media and methods of use
Forming features in the surface of a bicycle component involves depositing a substance onto a substrate in a geometric pattern to form a transfer medium. Forming features may also involve positioning the transfer medium relative to an unformed bicycle component, and forming a negative of the geometric pattern in the bicycle component through the application of heat and/or pressure to the transfer medium and the unformed bicycle component. The transfer medium may be configured for use in the molding of carbon fiber reinforced plastic (“CFRP”) bicycle components and may include a substrate formed of a flexible material, and a geometric pattern formed of a hard material, the hard material different than the flexible material.
Trim part with locking slide on a motor vehicle rim
Decorative trim panel on a motor vehicle wheel consisting of at least one plate-shaped trim part which at least partially covers the visible side of the motor vehicle wheel and which can be settleable in a load-transmitting manner to the spokes and/or to the rim ring of the wheel by a counter holder and/or latch, the counter holder/latch on the trim part side are formed from at least one latching foot which is integrally formed on the surface of the trim part, a hook head integrally formed thereon, and in that the latching foot is part of a latching connection on the trim part, the bending of which is effected by a locking slide formed to be displaceable and lockable in a latching gap of the latching connection and selectively consolidates or releases the latching connection and thereby bends or returns the latching foot towards the rim side.
Wheel assemblies for model vehicles
A wheel assembly for a model vehicle is provided. The wheel assembly may include a wheel base configured for mounting an R/C vehicle tire and a colored trim piece provided on a facing surface of the wheel base. In addition, the wheel assembly may include a wheel face configured to allow portions of the colored trim piece to be visible when the wheel face is attached to the wheel base. The wheel assembly may also include a hub cap assembly that comprises a hub cap and a retainer. Wherein the hub cap assembly is removably secured against the wheel base via the retainer.

Wheel center cap assembly
The invention concerns wheel center cap assemblies that include an adapter and a wheel center cap that registers with, or is integral with, the adapter. In some embodiments, the adapter includes tracks and lug sleeves that couple with lugs of the vehicle wheel. Each of the lug sleeves is slidably coupled to each of the tracks of the adapter, and each of the lug sleeves is adapted to move along a length of the tracks; this helps ensure that the adapter is universally compatible with multiple wheel models. In other embodiments, an adapter has a body adapted to be inserted within the center aperture of the wheel. A posterior support registers with the adapter and is sandwiched between a rotor of the vehicle and the wheel to secure the adapter inside the aperture of the wheel; a removable wheel center cap registers with the adapter to adorn the wheel.
Cover Element Adapted for Attaching to a Vehicle Wheel
A cover element is adapted for attaching to a vehicle wheel having a wheel hub, a wheel rim provided with a rim base for receiving a tire, and a central body connecting the wheel hub to the wheel rim. The cover element is configured in the shape of a circular disk in order to cover the central body, is distinguished in that the outer surface of the cover element is provided at least in regions with at least one bistable display element, such as an E-paper display element, with a display device, or is formed by at least one such display element. Electric control signals can be applied to the display device via a control unit.
Cover Element Suitable for Attachment to a Vehicle Wheel
A cover element is suitable for attachment to a vehicle wheel having a hub, a wheel rim provided with a rim well for accommodating a tire, and wheel spokes which connect the hub to the wheel rim. The cover element is designed to cover at least one gap between two wheel spokes that adjoin one another in the circumferential direction. The outer surface of the cover element, at least in regions, is provided with at least one bistable display element, such as an e-paper display element having a display device, or is formed by at least one such element, wherein the display device can be supplied with electrical control signals via a control unit.
Trim on an automobile wheel rim
A decorative trim panel on an automobile rim composed of at least one plate-shaped trim element that at least partially covers the visible side of the automobile rim, which can be secured by retaining means on the spokes of the rim, wherein a fastening plate bears on the back surface of the at least one spoke in a load transferring manner, and can be attached to the trim element in each case via retaining connections.
