PNEUMATIC TIRE
Provided is a pneumatic tire. In a tire meridian cross-sectional view of an unloaded state in which regular internal pressure is applied, a tire profile between two ground contact edges is constituted by two tire outer side profiles each having a dimension along the tire profile of 20% or more and 35% or less with respect to a dimension between the ground contact edges along the tire profile, and a tire inner side profile other than the two tire outer side profiles, the tire outer side profiles being constituted by at least four curved lines having different shapes.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire is provided, the pneumatic tire including a tread portion, sidewall portions, and bead portions, and the pneumatic tire includes, in the tread portion, a center main groove extending in a tire circumferential direction and a shoulder main groove extending in the tire circumferential direction on the outside of the center main groove; a land portion between the main grooves; lug grooves extending inward in a tire lateral direction from the shoulder main groove and terminating without communicating with the center main groove; a bent portion bending toward one side in the tire circumferential direction, at a terminating end of each of the lug grooves; and a raised bottom portion included in the bent portion, creating a level difference with respect to a lug groove, and being shallower than the lug groove.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire includes a land portion provided in a tread portion and including a recess recessed inward in a tire radial direction. The recess includes three or more sides defining an opening that opens to a ground contact surface of the land portion and forming a polygon, and three or more side surface portions defined by the sides and line segments connecting respective vertexes of the sides and a bottom point provided on an inner side of the ground contact surface in the tire radial direction. The side surface portions are formed so as to approach the bottom point as the side surface portions extend inward in the tire radial direction from the ground contact surface.
Tyre
To improve uneven wear resistance performance while maintaining drainage performance. A tyre is provided with a plurality of inclined grooves in a tread portion. Each of the inclined grooves extends from a crown region to a shoulder region. Each of the inclined grooves includes a first portion arranged on the crown region side, a second portion arranged on the shoulder region side, and a third portion connecting between the first portion and the second portion. The third portion has a groove width smaller than the first portion and the second portion. The first portion, the second portion, and the third portion are inclined to the same side with respect to the tyre circumferential direction.
MOTORCYCLE TYRE AND PAIR OF MOTORCYCLE TYRES
A motorcycle tyre has a tread band including a central portion and two shoulder portions arranged at axially opposite sides of the central portion. The central portion includes a first plurality of grooves extended according to a substantially longitudinal direction and alternatively arranged at opposite sides of the equatorial plane of the tyre. Each groove of the first plurality of grooves has a substantially curvilinear course such as to form a concavity. The central portion further includes a sub-portion substantially free of grooves placed astride the equatorial plane of the tyre. Each of the shoulder portions includes a second plurality of grooves arranged obliquely relative to the equatorial plane of the tyre.
TRUCK TIRE TREAD WITH J SHAPED SIPE
A tread (10) for a heavy truck tire is provided that has an upper surface for engaging the ground, a leading edge, and a trailing edge forward of the leading edge in a rolling direction. The tread also has a J shaped sipe (30) that has a main portion (32) that extends from the upper surface. The main portion (32) has an opening at the upper surface and a bottom end (36) opposite the opening in a radial direction. A curved portion (38) extends from the bottom end (36) and has a bottom curved wall (40) that has a radius (r1). The curved portion (38) extends from the bottom end (36) forward in the rolling direction (24), and has a curved portion end (42).
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire of the present disclosure includes, on a tread surface, circumferential main grooves extending in a tire circumferential direction and land portions defined between circumferential main grooves adjacent in a tire width direction among the circumferential main grooves or by the circumferential main grooves and tread edges. The land portions include widthwise grooves extending in the tire width direction and are divided into blocks by the widthwise grooves. At least one widthwise sipe extending in the tire width direction is included within the blocks. Hard rubber with a higher elastic modulus than that of tread rubber is disposed in a tire radial region including at least an opening to the tread surface of a wall defining the widthwise sipe. Microfabrication is applied in a region of the tread surface surrounding at least a portion of the opening of the widthwise sipe to the tread surface.
Tyre
To improve uneven wear resistance performance while maintaining drainage performance. A tyre is provided with a plurality of inclined grooves in a tread portion. Each of the inclined grooves includes a first portion arranged on a crown region side, a second portion arranged on a shoulder region side, and a third portion connecting between the first portion and the second portion. In a ground contacting surface of the tread portion, the third portion has a groove width smaller than the first portion and the second portion. The third portion includes an outer portion arranged on the ground contacting surface side and an inner portion arranged radially inside the outer portion. The inner portion has a groove width larger than the outer portion.
Tire
A tread portion has an outer tread end that is positioned on an outer side of a vehicle when mounted to the vehicle, a plurality of circumferential grooves that extend continuously in a tire circumferential direction, and a plurality of land portions that are defined by the circumferential grooves. The circumferential grooves include an outer circumferential groove that extends adjacently to a tire equator in a region closer to the outer tread end than the tire equator is. The land portions include an outer shoulder land portion that is defined between the outer circumferential groove and the outer tread end so as to continuously extend therebetween in a tire axial direction, and that has the largest width in the tire axial direction among the land portions. The outer shoulder land portion has a first outer lateral groove that extends inward in the tire axial direction and terminates in the outer shoulder land portion. An angle of the first outer lateral groove relative to the tire axial direction at a terminating position in the outer shoulder land portion is 0 to 20°.
