Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire includes a land portion provided in a tread portion and including a recess recessed inward in a tire radial direction. The recess includes three or more sides defining an opening that opens to a ground contact surface of the land portion and forming a polygon, and three or more side surface portions defined by the sides and line segments connecting respective vertexes of the sides and a bottom point provided on an inner side of the ground contact surface in the tire radial direction. The side surface portions are formed so as to approach the bottom point as the side surface portions extend inward in the tire radial direction from the ground contact surface.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire includes a first tread-half region from the tire equator to a first tread edge. In the first tread-half region, a crown land portion and a middle land portion are not provided with any grooves having widths equal to or more than 2 mm. In the first tread-half region, crown, middle and shoulder portions are respectively provided with a first crown sipe, a first middle sipe and a first shoulder sipe each having a width less than 2 mm. The first crown sipe, the first middle sipe and the first shoulder sipe are respectively configured as arc shapes having radiuses R1, R2 and R3 of curvature to protrude in a first circumferential direction side, wherein the radiuses R1, R2 and R3 are satisfied the following relation: R1<=R2<=R3, and R1<R3.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A tread portion is provided with a first block and a second block, which protrudes outward in a tire width direction more than the first block, alternately in a tire circumferential direction in a shoulder region. A first projection is provided in an outer side of the first block, and a second projection is provided in an outer side of the second block. An outside end of the second projection is connected to a side surface of the second block and is arranged closer to an outer side in the tire diametrical direction than an outside end of the first projection. An angle θ1 formed by a side surface of the first projection and a surface of the side wall portion is equal to or smaller than an angle θ2 formed by a side surface of the second projection and the surface of the side wall portion.
CAR TYRE
All season tyre (1) for SUVs and Crossovers; the tyre having a tread band (7) provided with a plurality of sipes (21,22,23,24,25,26) regularly and homogeneously arranged, and a wide central region (LI) provided with three rows of blocks, at least wo of which are provided with transverse grooves only slightly inclined relative to a direction orthogonal to the equatorial plane. The central region (LI) lacks circumferential annular portions having a low void-to-rubber ratio located adjacent to central annular portions having a medium or high void-to-rubber ratio.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A tire 1 according to an example of an embodiment includes a plurality of lands, and a tread having a sipe formed in at least part of the lands. An inclined surface is formed between an opening end on at least one side in a width direction of the sipe and a ground contact surface, the inclined surface having a linear shape in cross section and continuing from the ground contact surface. An intermediate surface is formed between the inclined surface and the sipe, the intermediate surface having an inclination angle with respect to the ground contact surface of 0 degrees or having an inclination angle with respect to the ground contact surface that is smaller than an inclination angle of the inclined surface with respect to the ground contact surface.
Tire
A tire has a tread portion including a first land portion including first and second circumferential edges and and a tread surface. On the first land portion, curved grooves are provided in a tire circumferential direction. Each curved groove extends from a first end on the first circumferential edge side, terminates at a second end within the first land portion, and includes first and second curved portions and on the first end and second end sides, respectively. The first curved portion is an arc curve with a radius of curvature having a center on the first circumferential edge side of the curved groove. The second curved portion is an arc curve with a radius of curvature having a center on the second circumferential edge side of the curved groove.
Tire
A tread portion has an outer tread end that is positioned on an outer side of a vehicle when mounted to the vehicle, a plurality of circumferential grooves that extend continuously in a tire circumferential direction, and a plurality of land portions that are defined by the circumferential grooves. The circumferential grooves include an outer circumferential groove that extends adjacently to a tire equator in a region closer to the outer tread end than the tire equator is. The land portions include an outer shoulder land portion that is defined between the outer circumferential groove and the outer tread end so as to continuously extend therebetween in a tire axial direction, and that has the largest width in the tire axial direction among the land portions. The outer shoulder land portion has a first outer lateral groove that extends inward in the tire axial direction and terminates in the outer shoulder land portion. An angle of the first outer lateral groove relative to the tire axial direction at a terminating position in the outer shoulder land portion is 0 to 20°.
TIRE
A tire tread pattern includes: first sipes in a first land portion between first and second circumferential main grooves; first chamfered surfaces in which a tread surface of the first land portion is inclined toward a first circumferential main groove side in an end portion in a width direction, the first sipes opening to the first chamfered surfaces; second sipes in a second land portion on an opposite side of the first land portion with respect to the second circumferential main groove; and second chamfered surfaces in which a tread surface of the second land portion is inclined toward a second circumferential main groove side in an end portion in the width direction, the second sipes opening to the second chamfered surfaces. The first and second. chamfered surfaces are greater in length in the circumferential direction than in the width direction.
