A tire includes knob sets having leading edge bevels connected by a ramp. The leading edge bevels may be offset in their positions or angles. Each knob set includes a first knob attached to a second knob. The knobs in each set may differ in lengths or in the angles of the leading edge bevels. Each knob set shares a common base and includes a pair of elongate outermost surfaces divided by an optional axial channel. Each knob set includes a lateral edge, medial edge and a trailing edge. Transverse rows of two or more knob sets may vary in lateral spacing between knob sets to provide narrow and wide rows in an alternating pattern. Knob sets may also be included on sidewalls of the tire.

Steering stability performance on dry road surfaces and steering stability performance on wet road surfaces are improved. A land portion width Wcc of a center land portion (31) and a land portion width Wco of an outer side middle land portion (32) satisfy a relationship of Wcc<Wco. In addition, a ground contact surface (10) of each of the outer side middle land portion (32) and an outer side shoulder land portion (34) is formed to protrude toward an outer side in a tire radial direction with respect to a reference profile PRco, PRso, and a protruding amount Hco of the outer side middle land portion (32) and a protruding amount Hso of the outer side shoulder land portion (34) satisfy a relationship of Hco<Hso.

Tire

A tire includes, in a tread portion, a pair of shoulder main grooves, a crown region between the shoulder main grooves, and shoulder regions disposed outside of the shoulder main grooves in a tire axial direction. Land ratios of the crown region and the shoulder regions are respectively 40%-60%. In the crown region, a plurality of middle blocks are arranged on both sides of a tire equator, and each middle block has a longitudinal shape in which a length in the tire circumferential direction is larger than a length in the tire axial direction.
