Pneumatic tire with a three dimensional component
A pneumatic tire includes an axis of rotation, a carcass having at least one reinforced ply and a reinforcing structure providing a buffer for absorbing shear strain, a tread disposed radially outward of the carcass, and a belt structure disposed radially between the carcass and the tread. The reinforcing structure includes at least one layer of a three dimensional fabric including a frame structure of fabric and open cells defined by the frame structure.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire according to the present disclosure includes a ply including a plurality of cords arranged in parallel to each other, a cover rubber covering the ply and configuring a tire outer surface, and a reinforcement layer that, at a position of a cut edge of the ply, covers the cut edge of the ply on one side or both sides in a ply thickness direction. The reinforcement layer is configured by a non-woven fabric comprising metal fibers or a rubber sheet material having metal fibers embedded therein.
Pneumatic tire
A tire includes a tread portion, a sidewall portion, and a bead portion. The bead portion includes a bead core that extends continuously in an annular shape in a tire circumferential direction, and a bead filler disposed adjacent to the bead core and outside the bead core in a tire radial direction. Reinforcing cords are provided in the bead portion and the sidewall portion so as to be curved such that inclination angles of the reinforcing cords with respect to the tire circumferential direction gradually increase with nearness to an outside in the tire radial direction.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire mountable on a 15° tapered specified rim includes a bead core, a carcass, a steel cord reinforcing layer, a bead rubber layer, an organic fiber reinforced layer, and a first reinforcing rubber layer. A distance from a second line segment to a third line segment is from 4 mm to 12 mm, a complex modulus of the first reinforcing rubber layer is from 6 MPa to 10 MPa, an elongation at break of the first reinforcing rubber layer is from 300% to 450%, and a difference between a first height and a second height is from 3 mm to 15 mm.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire, wherein, in a state of being mounted on a rim, defining the rim diameter as D, the length from the rim position representing the rim diameter D to the maximum tire radial height as SH, the rim flange height as G, the rim flange radius as R.sub.2, and the bead filler height H.sub.bf as the tire radial height with respect to the rim position representing the rim diameter D, the bead filler height H.sub.bf is less than or equal to a value obtained by the following formula: {SH−(G−R.sub.2)}/4+(G−R.sub.2). The cord is provided in at least one part from a bead portion to a sidewall portion 3 at an angle of 0 to 10° to the circumferential direction.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
In a pneumatic tire (1) that achieves both ride comfort and steering stability at a high level, a bead core (5) has a ratio of the maximum width of the core to the height of the core of 0.8 or less in a cross-section in the tire width direction. A cord (9) is provided in at least one part from a bead portion (2) to a sidewall portion (3) at an angle of 0 to 10° with respect to the circumferential direction. The cord (9) has an inflection point in a stress-strain curve, with a low elastic modulus in a low-strain region at or below the inflection point, and a high elastic modulus in a high-strain region above the inflection point.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
Provided is a pneumatic tire enabling improvement of side cut resistance and suppression of increase in mass. A pneumatic tire 1 includes: a tread portion 2; a pair of sidewall portions 3; a pair of bead portions 4 having respective bead cores 5 embedded therein; and a toroidal carcass 6 disposed between the pair of bead portions 4. The carcass 6 includes a first ply 11 extending on and between the pair of bead portions 4, and a second ply 12 disposed, in the tread portion 2, outward of the first ply 11 in a tire radial direction and extending on and between the pair of bead portions 4. The first ply 11 is formed as a layer of first cords. The second ply 12 is formed as a layer of second cords. A thickness of each second cord is 1.1 to 2.0 times a thickness of each first cord.
NON-PNEUMATIC TIRE
A non-pneumatic tire and rim assembly having a wheel having a first and second bead ring, wherein the non-pneumatic tire has a crown region and a first and second sidewall region; wherein the first and second sidewall regions each extend from the crown and terminate into a first and second respective bead area, wherein the first and second bead area are each mounted on the first and second bead ring, respectively; wherein each bead area is located axially outward of the crown region of the non-pneumatic tire when mounted on the wheel, and wherein the non-pneumatic tire further includes a reinforcement ply which extends from the first bead area to the second bead area.
