Pneumatic tire with a three dimensional component
A pneumatic tire includes an axis of rotation, a carcass having at least one reinforced ply and a reinforcing structure providing a buffer for absorbing shear strain, a tread disposed radially outward of the carcass, and a belt structure disposed radially between the carcass and the tread. The reinforcing structure includes at least one layer of a three dimensional fabric including a frame structure of fabric and open cells defined by the frame structure.
Heavy-duty pneumatic tire
A heavy-duty pneumatic tire includes a section width being equal to or less than 335 mm, an aspect ratio being equal to or less than 55%, and a toroidal carcass extending between axially spaced bead portions through a tread portion and sidewall portions. The carcass includes a carcass ply which includes a main portion and a turn-up portion turned up around a bead core of each bead portion. A belt layer is disposed radially outward of the carcass in the tread portion, wherein a radially outer end of the turn-up portion is located between the main portion and the belt layer in the tread portion. A sheeted rubber layer is disposed between the main portion and the turn-up portions in each sidewall portion.
Bias tire
A bias tire includes two or more carcass layers, at least one belt disposed outward from the carcass layers in a tire radial direction, a reinforcing rubber layer disposed between carcass plies included in a carcass layer of the carcass layers. A belt width of a widest belt with the widest width of the belts is 110% or more and 150% or less of a tread developed width, and a position of an upper end portion of the reinforcing rubber layer located outward in the tire radial direction is apart 3 mm or more from an end portion of the widest belt.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire includes a tread portion, sidewall portions, a pair of bead portions embedded with bead cores, and a carcass. The carcass includes a turned up ply including a main body portion extending between the bead cores, and a pair of turned up portions turned up around the bead cores from axially inside to outside. Each bead portion is provided with an inner apex rubber extending radially outward from the bead core between the main body portion and the turned up portion and an outer apex rubber arranged axially outside the turned up portion. The inner apex rubber has a radial height of from 18 to 30 mm. A buttress thickness D, a maximum width thickness E, and a bead thickness F satisfy Expressions (1) to (4):
E≥4.5 mm (1)
F≥9.0 mm (2)
E/D=0.6 to 0.9 (3)
F/E=1.7 to 2.2 (4).
Tire
A tire includes tire frame members including bead cores, a bead filler, an inner liner, side-wall rubber and cushion rubber; and an electronic unit provided at an interface of tire frame members, the tire further including: a carcass ply which extends from one bead core to another bead core and includes a rubber-coated reinforcement cord, a belt disposed on the outer side in the tire-radial direction of the carcass ply, in which the cushion rubber is disposed at an end of the carcass ply or at an end of the belt, in which the side-wall rubber is disposed on an outer side in a tire-width direction of the cushion rubber, and in which the electronic unit is disposed between the cushion rubber, and the bead filler or the side-wall rubber.
PNEUMATIC TIRE AND MANUFACTURING METHODS THEREFOR
A pneumatic tire comprises a tread portion, sidewall portions, bead portions each with a bead core embedded therein, and a carcass extending between the bead portions and comprising first carcass cords and second carcass cords. The first carcass cord comprises: a main portion extending from the tread portion to the bead portions via the sidewall portions; and folded-back portions continued from the main portion and folded back around the bead cores from the inside to the outside in the tire axial direction. The second carcass cord extends from the tread portion to the bead portions and terminates on the axially outside of the folded-back portions of the first carcass cords. Young's modulus of the second carcass cords is larger than Young's modulus of the first carcass cords.
HEAVY-DUTY PNEUMATIC TIRE
A heavy-duty pneumatic tire includes a section width being equal to or less than 335 mm, an aspect ratio being equal to or less than 55%, and a toroidal carcass extending between axially spaced bead portions through a tread portion and sidewall portions, wherein the carcass includes a carcass ply which includes a main portion and a turn-up portion, a belt layer disposed radially outward of the carcass in the tread portion, a sidewall rubber defining an outer sidewall profile of each sidewall portion, and a chafer rubber defining an outer bead profile of each bead portion, wherein in each bead portion, on a straight line that is perpendicular to the main portion of the carcass ply and passes a radially inner end of the sidewall rubber, the chafer rubber has a thickness of from 40% to 60% of a thickness of the bead portion.
