Pneumatic tire
In a pneumatic tire are defined: a first imaginary line VL1 passing through a ground contact surface in a meridian cross section of a tread portion, a second imaginary line VL2 passing through a bottom portion of a shoulder main groove and parallel to VL1, an intersection point between VL2 and a surface of a shoulder land portion outward of a ground contact edge T in a lateral direction, and an equatorial plane CL. Given A as a distance in the lateral direction between an intersection point P and CL, B as a groove depth of the shoulder main groove, and C as a distance in the lateral direction between T and CL, 0.80≤(B+C)/A≤1.15 is satisfied and, given E as a distance in the lateral direction between the bottom portion of the shoulder main groove and P, 2.0≤E/B≤5.0 is satisfied.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire is described which includes a tread, a carcass and a belt structure interposed between the carcass and the tread. The belt structure includes a first and second working belt, wherein the angle of the working belts range from about 12 degrees to about 30 degrees, wherein the belt structure further includes a low angle belt located between the working belts. The first working belt is the radially innermost belt, and is the widest belt. The second working belt is radially outward of the low angle belt, and has first and second lateral ends that are located adjacent first and second lateral belts. The first and second lateral belts are low angle belts. The pneumatic tire may further include an optional third working belt, that is the radially outermost belt.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
Provided is a pneumatic tire in which, by improving adhesion between a rubber and fibers for a reinforcing layer that is arranged in such a manner to extend from a tire radial-direction inner side of a belt layer in an end region of a tread portion toward an inner side of a tire radial direction along a carcass ply, not only the durability is further improved as compared to conventional tires but also the rolling resistance is reduced. The pneumatic tire includes: at least one carcass ply (2); and at least one belt layer (3) arranged on a tire radial-direction outer side of the carcass ply (2) in a crown portion, in which pneumatic tire a reinforcing layer (4) extending from the tire radial-direction inner side of the belt layer in the end region of the tread portion toward the inner side of the tire radial direction along the carcass ply is arranged, and core-sheath type composite fibers (C), whose core portion is composed of a high-melting-point resin (A) having a melting point of 150 C. or higher and sheath portion is composed of a resin material (B) that contains an olefin-based polymer (D) having a melting point of not higher than a tire vulcanization temperature, are embedded in the reinforcing layer.
TIRE
A tire includes a tire frame member, a reinforcing layer, and a housing recess. The tire frame member is circular and is formed from a resin material. The tire frame member includes a bead portion, a side portion, and a crown portion. The reinforcing layer is provided at a tire radial direction outer side of the crown portion, and comprises a reinforcing cord extending in a direction intersecting the tire width direction, the reinforcing cord being covered by rubber. The housing recess is formed in the crown portion and extends in a tire circumferential direction. At least an inner circumferential portion of the reinforcing layer is housed in the housing recess with side faces of the reinforcing layer contacting recess wall faces on both tire width direction sides of the housing recess.
TIRE
A tire including a tire frame member, a reinforcing layer, and projections. The tire frame member is circular and is formed from a resin material, and includes a bead portion, a side portion, and a crown portion. The reinforcing layer is provided at a tire radial direction outer side of the crown portion, and comprises a reinforcing cord extending in a direction intersecting the tire width direction, the reinforcing cord being covered by rubber. The projections are respectively formed at both tire width direction sides of the crown portion such that the reinforcing layer is interposed between the projections. Each projection projects toward the tire radial direction outer side, and includes a projection wall face contacted by a side face of the reinforcing layer at the tire width direction inner side of the projection.
Given A as a distance in the lateral direction between an intersection point P and CL, B as a groove depth of the shoulder main groove, and C as a distance in the lateral direction between T and CL, 0.80(B+C)/A1.15 is satisfied and, given E as a distance in the lateral direction between the bottom portion of the shoulder main groove and P, 2.0E/B5.0 is satisfied.
Tire
A tire includes: a ring shaped tire frame member that is made of a resin with plural tire pieces joined along a tire circumferential direction; a joint portion reinforcing belt that is adhered to the tire frame member, that extends around the tire circumferential direction, and that covers a joint portion of the plural tire pieces; and a tread layer that is provided further to the tire radial direction outside than the tire frame member and the joint portion reinforcing belt.
Vehicle tire comprising a layer of circumferential reinforcing elements
A tire with radial carcass reinforcement comprises a crown reinforcement including a layer of circumferential reinforcing elements distributed axially at a variable pitch. The layer of circumferential reinforcing elements is radially crowned by a tread strip, which is connected to two beads by two sidewalls. The layer of circumferential reinforcing elements comprises five parts, including a central part, two intermediate parts and two axially outer parts.
