TIRE
An object of the invention is to provide a tire having good steering stability performance after wear and in which a decrease in wet performance after wear is suppressed. The tire comprises a tread being composed of a rubber layer in which change in hardness after thermal deterioration is within a predetermined range and having a groove shape such that a sea ratio after wear with respect to a sea ratio as when the tire is newly used.
Tire
A tire has a tread portion including a first land portion including first and second circumferential edges and and a tread surface. On the first land portion, curved grooves are provided in a tire circumferential direction. Each curved groove extends from a first end on the first circumferential edge side, terminates at a second end within the first land portion, and includes first and second curved portions and on the first end and second end sides, respectively. The first curved portion is an arc curve with a radius of curvature having a center on the first circumferential edge side of the curved groove. The second curved portion is an arc curve with a radius of curvature having a center on the second circumferential edge side of the curved groove.
Tire
A tire comprises a tread portion axially divided into four land regions. The tire has a mounting direction to a vehicle and the land regions 4 include a widest outboard middle land region. The outboard middle land region is provided with first, second and third inclined grooves. The first inclined groove extends from a crown main groove and terminates within the outboard middle land region. The second inclined groove has its both ends terminated within the outboard middle land region. The third inclined groove intersects the first and second inclined grooves.
Tyre
A tyre includes a tread portion being provided with at least one main groove extending in a tyre circumferential direction and at least one lateral groove connected to the at least one main groove. The at least one main groove includes an intersection to which the lateral groove is connected. One of groove walls of the at least one main groove or the at least one lateral groove is provided with projections protruding toward the intersection.
TREAD BLOCK ARRANGEMENT HAVING A SIPE
A tread block arrangement is suitable for a tire or for a tread band for a tire. The tread block arrangement includes a tread block having a first sipe delimited by a first sipe wall, a second sipe wall and a bottom of the sipe. The first sipe wall and the second sipe wall are arranged parallel to each other and define a width of the sipe. At least the first sipe wall has an indentation to increase an empty volume of the sipe at the location of the indentation. The first sipe wall has an inclined section to form the indentation, wherein a distance between the first sipe wall and the second sipe wall increases towards the bottom of the sipe at the location of the inclined section. A tire has the tread block arrangement and a lamella plate for forming sipes of the tread block arrangement.
Tire
The tire includes a tread portion 2 having at least one groove 3 that includes two groove walls 6. At least one of the groove walls 6 has a protrusion 10 that protrudes from the groove wall 6. The protrusion 10 includes at least two ribs 11 that extend in a length direction of the groove 3 and are spaced from each other in the tire radial direction, and a joining portion 12 for joining the ribs 11 to each other. Each rib 11 protrudes from the groove wall 6 so as to form such an inclination that the rib 11 is inclined outward from the groove wall 6 in a tire radial direction.
MOTORCYCLE TIRE
A motorcycle tire includes a tread rubber that includes a base rubber layer and a cap rubber layer disposed outward in the tire radial direction of the base rubber layer to form a ground contact surface. The cap rubber layer includes a crown cap portion disposed in a middle region in the tire axial direction of a tread portion and a pair of shoulder cap portions disposed in both sides in the tire axial direction of the crown cap portion. The crown cap portion has a loss tangent tan δc, the shoulder cap portions have a loss tangent tan δs, and the base rubber layer has a loss tangent tan δb, wherein the loss tangents tan δc, tan δs and tan δb satisfy the following equation (1): tan δc<tan δs≤tan δb . . . (1).
TIRE
An object of the present invention is to provide a tire having improved overall performance of grip performance during straight running and grip performance during cornering under a high-speed running condition.
As a result of intensive studies, it has been found that the above-described problem can be solved by, in a tire having a tread part in which a mounting direction to a vehicle is designated, dividing the tread part in a tire width direction and setting respective width and respective average values of a loss tangent tan δ of an inner tread rubber layer forming an end side inside the to vehicle when the tire is mounted to the vehicle and an outer tread rubber layer forming an end side outside the vehicle when the tire is mounted to the vehicle within predetermined ranges.
Precured tire tread with fabric reinforcing layer
A precured tread assembly for mounting on a tire casing is provided. The precured tread assembly includes a tread portion having a mounting surface and an opposing ground-engaging surface with a plurality of grooves therein. A reinforcing fabric layer is attached to the mounting surface of the tread portion.
Pneumatic motorcycle tire
Provided is a pneumatic motorcycle tire which includes a tread portion, and side wall portions and bead portions, and whose rotation direction when the tire is mounted on a vehicle is designated. A tire tread includes a branched main groove composed of a first groove extending inclined toward the designated tire rotation direction on one side in the tire width direction, a second groove extending from an end portion of the first groove in the reverse rotation direction of the designated tire rotation direction inclined toward the designated tire rotation direction on the other end in the tire width direction, and a third groove extending from an end portion of the first groove and second groove in the reverse rotation direction of the designated tire rotation direction toward the reverse rotation direction of the designated tire rotation direction, wherein a connecting portion of the first groove and the second groove is formed in a curved shape, the first groove and the second groove are formed in a curved line having the center of the radius of curvature on the side of the reverse rotation direction of the designated tire rotation direction, and the third groove is formed in a curved line having the center of the radius of curvature on the side of the tire center portion.
