A tire according to the present disclosure is a tire including, in a tread surface, a tread land portion partitioned by a partitioning groove or by the partitioning groove and a tread edge. The tread land portion includes a sipe extending from a surface of the tread land portion inwardly in a tire radial direction. The sipe includes a widened portion with a larger sipe width than a position adjacent in a sipe longitudinal direction. The cross-sectional area of the widened portion in cross section perpendicular to the tire radial direction is larger on inside than on outside in the tire radial direction.

A tire comprises a tread portion. The tread portion is provided with a sipe. The sipe comprises four sipe segments: a first sipe segment, a second sipe segment, a third sipe segment, and a fourth sipe segment. At least one of the first sipe segment and the third sipe segment comprises an oscillated portion which extends in the radial direction of the tire, while oscillating in a lateral direction orthogonal to the length direction of the sipe in a cross section of the sipe orthogonal to the length direction. Each of the first sipe segment and the third sipe segment comprises the oscillated portion including an oscillating-start portion, and the oscillating-start portion of the first sipe segment is inclined with respect to the tire radial direction in the same direction as the oscillating-start portion of the third sipe segment.

A pneumatic tire includes circumferential main grooves extending in the tire circumferential direction on the tread surface, and in widthwise outermost land portions, widthwise grooves extending from the tread edges inward in the tire width direction and widthwise sipes extending from the tire widthwise inner edge of the widthwise grooves inward in the tire width direction and connecting to the circumferential main groove. Each widthwise sipe includes a widened portion, by the sipe bottom, with a larger sipe width than at the tread surface. A rectangle ratio is 0.8 or more. Each widthwise sipe extends at a first angle relative to the tire width direction in plan view of the tread surface. In a tire radial region containing the widened portion, the widened portion extends at a second angle smaller than the first angle relative to the tire width direction, or partially extends along the tire width direction.

Tyre

A tyre comprises a tread portion comprising a shoulder main groove and a shoulder land region. The shoulder land region includes an outer region, a middle region, and an inner region. The shoulder land region is provided with a plurality of shoulder sipes having components in a tyre axial direction. A sipe ratio of the middle region is smaller than the sipe ratio of the outer region and the sipe ratio of the inner region.

Tire

The tire has a tread portion axially divided into two shoulder land regions, two middle land regions and one crown land region by two shoulder circumferential grooves and two crown circumferential grooves. The middle land regions are each provided with a single longitudinal sipe, and first and second middle transverse grooves extending from the adjacent shoulder circumferential groove and crown circumferential groove, and terminated without being connected to the longitudinal sipe. The shoulder land regions are each provided with shoulder transverse grooves extending from tread edges and terminated within the respective shoulder land regions.

Tyre

A tyre comprises a tread portion having a land region including a ground contacting surface defined between a first vertical edge and a second vertical edge and a lateral groove including a first portion extending from the first vertical edge, a second portion extending from the second vertical edge, and a connection portion connecting therebetween. The connection portion is a portion between a first small edge protruding circumferentially from the first portion and a second small edge protruding toward a circumferentially opposite side to the first small edge. A length in the tyre circumferential direction of each of the first and second small edges is smaller than a maximum groove width of each of the first and second portions. At least a part of the connection portion has a raised bottom portion having a depth smaller than that of the lateral groove at the first and second vertical edges.

Tire

A tire has a tread portion 2. The first middle land region 11 is provided with bend grooves 15 each having a first end 15a and a second end 15b. The first end 15a is connected to the first shoulder circumferential groove 5. The second end 15b is connected to one of the bend grooves 15 next in one of two opposite circumferential directions. Each bend groove 15 has two bent portions 16 and 17 at which the groove is bent. The bent angle θ1 at the first bent portion 16 is greater than the bent angle θ2 at the second bent portion 17.

A tire has a tread portion that can include a first tread ground contact end on one side in a tire axial direction, a first shoulder circumferential groove closest to the first tread ground contact end, and a first shoulder land portion demarcated to be disposed outwardly of the first shoulder circumferential groove in the tire axial direction. A plurality of first shoulder grove portions extending from the first shoulder circumferential groove to the first tread ground contact end e1 can be in the first shoulder land portion. A pair of first shoulder groove portions adjacent to each other in a tire circumferential direction can have different angles relative to the tire axial direction. The plurality of first shoulder groove portions can include a plurality of kinds of first shoulder groove portions having different first pitch lengths at a connecting portion to the first shoulder circumferential groove. A maximum value of the first pitch length can be 1.2 to 1.5 times an average of the first pitch lengths.

Tire

A tire has a tread portion having a second middle land region which is provided with middle lateral grooves and circumferentially divided into middle blocks. Each middle block is provided with two first middle sipes extending from a second shoulder circumferential groove, and one second middle sipe disposed between the two first middle sipes. Each first middle sipe extends in a wavy manner in its depth direction. The second middle sipe extends straight in its depth direction. The second middle sipe extends from the second shoulder circumferential groove and is terminated within the second middle land region.
