In a tire widthwise cross-sectional view, an end of a carcass ply, among the two or more carcass plies, closest to the bead filler in a region inward in a tire width direction from the bead filler is located in a region corresponding to 45° to 90° inward in the tire width direction when 0° is defined as outward in the tire radial direction from a center of the bead core.

A cord (9) is provided in at least one part from a bead portion (2) to a sidewall portion (3) at an angle of 0 to 10° with respect to the circumferential direction. The cord (9) has an inflection point in a stress-strain curve, with a low elastic modulus in a low-strain region at or below the inflection point, and a high elastic modulus in a high-strain region above the inflection point.

In this aircraft tire (10), the carcass (2) includes at least one layer of a turn-up ply (2a) which is composed of a main body (2aa) and folded portions (2ab), and at least one layer of a down ply (2b) which covers a tire width-direction outer side of the respective folded portions (2ab) of the turn-up ply (2a) and extends to at least a tire radial-direction inner side of the respective bead cores (1); rubber-cord reinforcing members (6) are each arranged between the main body (2aa) of an outermost turn-up ply (2a) and the folded portion (2ab) of the turn-up ply (2a) extending to a tire radial-direction outermost side, and between the folded portion (2ab) of the turn-up ply (2a) extending to the tire radial-direction outermost side and an innermost down ply (2b); and cords of the rubber-cord reinforcing members (6) have an elongation at break of not less than 30%.

The side reinforcement layer extends along a lateral surface of a bead filler, and extends beyond an outer end of the bead filler to an outer side in a tire radial direction. The carcass ply includes: a first ply stretched between bead cores; and a second ply arranged on a tire outer surface side of the first ply. An inner end portion in the tire radial direction of the second ply is superimposed on an outer end portion in the tire radial direction of the side reinforcement layer, and the second ply extends to the outer side in the tire radial direction from the inner end portion and is terminated at a position at which the second ply is superimposed on an end portion of a belt.

A bead portion of a tire includes: a bead portion including a core; a first filler arranged at the core; a carcass extending around the core and the first filler and radially inward adjacent an axially inner side of the core, the carcass further extending axially outward adjacent the core and radially outward adjacent the core; a second filler extending both axially and radially beyond the first filler, the second filler overlapping the first filler, an outermost end of the second filler being positioned radially outward from the first filler; a first chafer disposed at the second filler; a second chafer extended about the carcass; and a flipper extending radially inward from a position axially adjacent the first filler. The second filler is embedded at a convergence of the first chafer and a sidewall.
