A tire includes a tread portion, a sidewall portion, and a bead portion. The bead portion includes a bead core that extends continuously in an annular shape in a tire circumferential direction, and a bead filler disposed adjacent to the bead core and outside the bead core in a tire radial direction. Reinforcing cords are provided in the bead portion and the sidewall portion so as to be curved such that inclination angles of the reinforcing cords with respect to the tire circumferential direction gradually increase with nearness to an outside in the tire radial direction.

A pneumatic tire includes one carcass including a folded up portion and a reinforcing layer between the folded up portion and a bead filler. The folded up portion has an end portion in a region inward of a belt layer in a radial direction and inward of the belt layer in a lateral direction. The bead filler has an outer end portion distanced from a bead heel portion from 20% or more to 40% or less of a tire cross-sectional height. The reinforcing layer has an outer end portion outward of the outer end portion of the bead filler in the radial direction and inward in the radial direction with respect to a position of a tire maximum width position in the radial direction. A sidewall portion is formed of a side rubber having tan at 60 C. of from 0.04 or more to 0.10 or less.

Reinforcing ply for articles made of an elastomeric material, preferably for pneumatic vehicle tyres, and pneumatic vehicle tyre

The invention relates to a rubberized reinforcing ply for articles made of elastomeric material, preferably for vehicle tires, where the reinforcing ply has a multiplicity of parallel strengthening elements spaced apart from one another, with each strengthening element consisting of polyamide 6.6 and having an x1 construction, hence being a twisted multifilament yarn of polyamide 6.6. The crude yarn of polyamide 6.6 has a tenacity which, at an elongation of 4%, is within a range from 1.35 cN/dtex to 1.60 cN/dtex; the multifilament yarn has a tenacity which, at an elongation of 4%, is within a range from 2.0 cN/dtex to 2.8 cN/dtex, and the cord has a thermal shrinkage at 177 within a range of 4.0%-7.0%, wherein the tenacity in accordance with ASTM D885-16 and the thermal shrinkage at 77 C. are determined under a pre-tension of 0.045 g/dtex with an exposure time of two minutes.

Reinforcing layer for objects made of an elastomeric material, preferably for pneumatic vehicle tyres and pneumatic vehicle tyres

The invention relates to a rubberized reinforcing ply for articles composed of elastomeric material, preferably for vehicle tires, wherein the reinforcing ply has a multiplicity of strengthening elements which are in parallel and spaced apart, wherein each strengthening element is a cord which is end-twisted from at least two twisted multifilament yarns composed of polyamide 6.6. The raw yarn composed of polyamide 6.6 has a tenacity which, at an elongation of 4%, is within a range from 1.35 cN/dtex to 1.60 cN/dtex, the cord has a tenacity which, at an elongation of 4%, is within a range from 1.2 cN/dtex to 2 cN/dtex and the cord has a thermal shrinkage at 177 within a range of 4.0%-7.0%, wherein the tenacity in accordance with ASTM D885-16 and the thermal shrinkage at 177 C. are determined under a pre-tension of 0.045 g/dtex with an exposure time of two minutes.
