DEVICE FOR TRANSMITTING COMPRESSED AIR OR CONTROL AND/OR WORKING PRESSURES IN A CARDAN SHAFT ARRANGEMENT
A rotation transmission apparatus for transmitting control and/or working pressures to a fluid channel, which is at least regionally configured or accommodated on or in a shaft, in particular a drive shaft, wherein the rotation transmission apparatus includes a stator assembly, which is arranged such that it is stationary relative to a rotational movement of the shaft and has at least one fluid supply/discharge line, wherein the fluid supply/discharge opens into an annular space which surrounds the shaft at least partially and with which the fluid channel of the shaft is fluidically connected via a branch channel, wherein the annular space is associated with sealing elements, which are arranged and configured in the annular space at least partially such that they seal the annular space from the outside atmosphere when a previously defined or definable overpressure is applied in the annular space.
AXLE ASSEMBLY HAVING A SPINDLE PLUG AND A SLEEVE
An axle assembly having a hose, a spindle plug, a sleeve, and a rotary union adapted to be fluidly connected to a tire. The spindle plug may be disposed in a spindle. The hose may be fluidly connected to the rotary union. The sleeve may encircle the hose and extend from the spindle plug to a stator of the rotary union. The sleeve cooperates with the spindle plug to limit rotation of the stator and the hose.
TIRE INFLATION SYSTEM AND CONNECTION ARRANGEMENT
A connection arrangement for a tire inflation system. The connection arrangement includes a rotary union and a hose assembly. A main body of the hose assembly is insertable into and removeable from a receptacle cavity of the rotary union when in a first rotational position. A locking protrusion of the hose assembly is received in the locking opening of the rotary union to secure the main body to the rotary union when in the second rotational position.
Hub Covering for a Tyre Filling Device of a Vehicle
The invention relates to a hub covering (2) for a tyre filling device of a vehicle for covering a wheel hub (1) of the vehicle, wherein an air supply which is coupled to a steering knuckle (21) arranged inside the wheel hub (1) is connected to an air volume in a tyre of a vehicle wheel at least indirectly via a rotary connection (3) arranged on the hub covering (2), wherein the rotary connection (3) comprises an adapter (4), which is arranged in an axially secured and rotatable manner on the hub covering (4), and receives a rotary transmitter (5) for producing a compressed air connection to the tyre of the vehicle wheel. The invention further relates to a tyre filling device and to an adapter (4) for such a hub covering (2).
Hydraulic device comprising an air flow line
The invention relates to a hydraulic device including: a stator and a rotor, in which the rotor can rotate relative to the stator about a first axis of rotation; and a shaft mounted on the rotor such as to rotate therewith. The shaft has a wheel carrier provided at a proximal end thereof and designed to receive a rim and a tire. The shaft includes a through-channel extending from the proximal end to an opposing distal end. The hydraulic device includes an air chamber formed at the distal end of the shaft and connected to the through-channel. The through-channel and air chamber are produced such as to allow a flow of air in order to control the pressure of a tire.
Tire inflator
A tire inflator/bleed system allows tire pressure to be adjusted using controls in a vehicle and while in motion. The inflator system includes a disk portion which rotates with a wheel, and a ring portion rotatably attached to the disk. The disk may be a spacer between the wheel and a vehicle hub, be part of the wheel, or be part of the hub. The ring portion receives air from an air supply/bleeder and is in fluid communication with the disk portion to provide the air to or from the disk portion. The disk portion is in fluid communication with a tire interior to add or remove air from the tire.
CENTRAL TIRE INFLATION SYSTEM
A central tire inflation system configured to maintain an air pressure on a first and second tire mounted to a wheel of a vehicle including a wheel assembly configured to be operably coupled to the wheel and including (1) a housing in fluid communication with an external air supply, (2) two check valves carried by the housing and in fluid communication with the air supply, (3) two tire air connectors carried by the housing and in fluid communication with the two check valves, respectively, and configured to be operably coupled to the two tires, respectively. The first tire, second tire, and air supply in fluid communication when both the first check valve and the second check valve are in an open position but not in fluid communication when either the first check valve or the second check valve is in a closed position.
TIRE INFLATION VALVE EQUIPPED WITH ADJUSTING SYSTEM FOR A TPMS SENSOR
A tire inflation valve associable with a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) sensor includes a stem ending in a head equipped with a head body and an adjustable insert associable with the TPMS sensor by a connection element and hinged to the head body to rotate about a transverse axis and allow position adjustment of the TPMS sensor. The adjustable insert allows modifying inclination of the TPMS sensor according to different use conditions.
Pressure balance valve
An assembly for an ATIS that includes a tire inflation valve and a tire deflation valve, and further includes a safety valve that is configured to receive the tire pressure, deflate a tire when tire pressure is too high such as due to braking heat, road friction, ambient temperature, or other reasons. The safety valve prevents deflation of the tire through the deflation valve in the case of low source pressure, such as the pressure source fails or a leak in the source pressure system lines. The assembly is designed to be quickly serviced in the field, where the serviceable parts are very inexpensive. Multiple devices can be installed in parallel with the others, with one device per tire or tire set. The assembly can be a block configured to be attached to a hub cap of a vehicle. It also enables a sensor placement on the hub cap for hub temperature sensing as well as tire pressures sensing and reporting.
MULTI-BODY HUBCAP FOR TIRE INFLATION SYSTEMS
A hubcap comprising a base and a cap rotatably coupled to the base.
